About Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall Tour

The Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall is a royal reception hall within Dusit Palace in Bangkok, Thailand. It was ordered by King Chulalongkorn in 1908 and it was completed in 1915, 5 years after Rama V's death in 1910. It is now employed from time to time for certain state occasions. Its neo-classical Renaissance architecture - particularly its central dome - dominate the scene just as Italian architects Mario Tamango and Annibale Rigotti intended.
