- Poor room quality...bed too hard...ask for queen bed but got 2 single beds.
- A/C always dripping water...i stayed 3 nights and all 3 nights i got watered on.
- No internet / wifi
- bed is too hard for my liking and all my friends too.

Its a budget hotel, so service is sometimes iffy. Room service not there at times. But overall, great value for money.

room are a little bit small, but very correct.
near the center, easy to 5-10 minutes to BTS and airporttrain (Ratchaprarop). near Central World, big C, Pratunam etc (5 min). breackfast simple but correct. Employee friendly. Quiet.

Hotel is value for money and breakfast served is reasonable. Eventhough it was served less choices of what we expected. Hotel's staffs were lacking of smile, couldn't know where were their service mind. Howevers, we loved location conveniently to go the shopping center.

I truely like this hotel,the staffs always smile friendly helpful advisable in every matters for I ,wife n daugter during 10 days stayed. Good breakfast,good shower cool n hot water,clean towel,tv,refri,cool ac, remember the location is just in front of Isetan behind Bangkok bank.just a walk to Pratunan,Isetan,Central World,Siam Paragon etc

I loved my stay at the Bankok City Inn. After a long flight from the UK the comfy beds, spotless en suite and free bottled water by the bedside were really welome. The breakfast buffet was good and staff were on hand to sort out taxi's etc.

Location is convenience near to Pratunam market and central world plaza. 10 mins walks to BTS and 4 faces buddha

Room is clean, but frayed
Restoran meal is perfect, good cook and price is not high.
No russian TV chanels

The hotel staff is very polite and helpfull. This is the secong time I stay there, will recommend to other friends as well.

Location is ok,but the hotel is of a very low standard for the price we moved to another hotel 100baht a night more and it was what you would expect for this price.Three times better

The staff there was very friendly and helpful(Bellboy,Receptionist,Restaurant staff).Nearby the hotel have 7-11,Money exchange(with high rate),Massage Center(good service and cheap).The room need to refurbish, a bit old. The location is the center of fashion area(pratunam) but is a bit far from Skytrain. Lack of night life and local food restaurant. This time was the 5th times I been to Bangkok. Previously i stay at Shukhumvit area. I prefer Shukhumvit than Pratunam. Depend on what you want to get from Bangkok. Night life or Shopping? Average this hotel is cheap and convenience at this area because normally this area are the center of 5star hotel.

Dislike the breakfast. Staying there for 5 night and their breakfast were pretty similar. Please make some changes to the types of dishes provided and the spaces of restaurant are small.

location is gd walking distance to all the shopping area. The room is clean and the staff is so friendly only the breakfast not really good. I will stay there for my next visit.

this is my 4th time staying in bangkok city inn. its within walking distance to all my fav places. Big C is 7 mins, Platinum Mall is 10 mins, Central Worls is 12mins, Sian Paragon is 20 mins, MBK is 25mins. All i travelled by foot. Hotel front desk and bell boy are always friendly!

The staffs there very friendly and helpful. The tv channels please add the music station cause the only channel i can watch and understand is the movie channel.

Better add on WIFI service for the hotel.

The hotel is really great. The location is absolutely perfect, the staff are friendly and provide good service, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and it is extremely good value for money. There is also a very good spa called Indara just around the corner. My best Bangkok hotel experience yet!

Bangkok City Inn is just marvellous. Perfect location, extremely good value for money, good and friendly service, clean, safe... What more can I ask for? Enjoyed my 4 nights' stay (8 to 12 Apr) there. Will definitely stay there again in future! :)

This is the first time I stayed in Bangkok City Inn. The location is the best and convenient. Near to Central World, Platinum Mall, Prarunam and Siam. Will stay again next time. The room is very clean and the breakfast is not bad. Acceptable. Excellent value of money with its location, room and breakfast.

what i like the most is, the location of the hotel, where you can access to anywhere famous for the shopping mall. well, dislike might be the food for the breakfast is not that well tasting. maybe improve on the food menu items.

Bangkok City Inn is in a great location although the tranfer service from the airport had trouble finding it.
Really close to shopping malls and the Skytrain is only 10 minutes walk.
Rooms were clean and had plenty of space. Only bad thing was the beds - too firm for our liking and the pillows were really flat.
Breakfast was better than I expected. We would definitely stay there again.

The Place is not bad overall, however most of the cab driver are not aware of ther location of this hotel even with the name card provided to them.

The location really good, walking distance abt 10mins to Central World and Pratunam Market, 15mins to BTS station.

This hotel is in a fantastic location to local markets, big shopping malls (Central World, MBK) and BTS Skytrain. The rooms are basic and a bit shabby but functional all the same. It is clean and the staff were smiling and friendly. Something hard to find nowadays in many Bangkok hotels I have stayed in.

I would recommend this to the traveller who is on a budget but wants comfort amenities as well.

The breakfast buffet was a dissappointment as I am a vegetarian. One day they had cereal available, the next they didnt. It meant that compared to everyone else, I had only toast to eat. They should definitely have a slightly better choice with cereals everyday. However, if you are into Dinner-at-Breakfasttime (non-veggie), the assortment is fine.

Coffee and tea is super weak and in the end I had my own coffee bags with me and asked for boiling water.

I enjoyed the time I was there and although I like the comfort of other hotels, I will probably go back to this one as it is convenient in all aspects.

They give bottled water each day, a blessing in humid bangkok!

Excellent location near to BTS station, Big C, and many big shopping center.

I hope the hotel can have free wireless internet access, counter lobby can have a TV and music playing while we are waiting for friends there.

Although it is conveniently located to shopping centres, it is not very close to the nearest MRT (Chit Lom). Have to walk about 10 mins. Walking 10 mins in Bangkok´s weather is smoltering. But overall experience with hotel staff is pleasant.

1. Staff were not too helpful when asked which place to recommend for shopping.

2. No power point in the hotel room. Guests may need to charge their cameras and mobile phones.

Bangkok City Inn is surprisingly a value for money budget hotel as it is comfortable to stay, its smartly-dressed staff live up to their country´s motto: "Land of Smiles", simple yet nutritious breakfast is provided free in a comfortable dining room every morning and it is surrounded by major roads like Ratchadamri in the west, Witthayu in the east, Phetburi in the north and Phloencit in the south. It is near a Skytrain station known as Chitlom Station and a good starting point to go to many tourists´ attractions, like Grand Royal Palace, famous temples (e.g. Wat Prakeo, Wat Intrawihan), monuments (e.g. Democracy Monument, King Rama III Monument), Chinese food in Chinatown, Chao Phraya River which is full of activities ( like tug-boats pulling barges, boats of different shapes and sizes ferrying passengers across the river and boats carrying tourists plying on the large, serene river, etc.) museums and many more in the west, Suan Lum Night Bazaar (Shopping and Thai food), Lumphini Boxing Stadium, the sleazy red light distict of Patphong and etc. in the south, and Victory Monument and Chatuchak Weekend Market in the north. Besides, a guest can get any means of transport near Bangkok City Inn: either taxi, tuk-tuk, motorcycle taxi or Skytrain (a mass rapid train)and inexpensive Thai food at nearby restaurants or cheap food from hawkers either on the roadside, walkway or five-foot way (especially food hawkers opposite Pratunam Complex along Phetburi Road)
A tourist who wants to buy expensive branded goods does not need to go far from the inn. A large shopping mall known as Central World Plaza is very nearby where he can shop the whole day. When night falls, he can chill-out in the open-air bistros just outside the mall and enjoy the local and foreign songs sung by local singers. If he does not like beer, he can mingle with the other tourists and local people who try to strike a hard bargain with hundreds of pedlars selling all kinds of merchandise ranging from toys and accessories to clothes, shoes, watches and handbags outside the mall and along Ratchadamri Road.Or he can savours the simple local food from the food pelars there.
If a guest of Bangkok City Inn has more days to stay he may ask Rose, a tour agent, for tours outside Bangkok City, like Ayutthaya Tour, an animal show tour, trekking, a visit to the infamous bridge over River Kwai, a boat cruise on Thailand´s largest and longest river, Menam Chao Phraya.
Well, I think Bangkok City Inn is a good place to stay if you are on touring on a shoestring. I have stayed there for 3 days and I enjojed the accommodation: a nice soft bed to sleep, hot or cold water for shower, a TV providing 8 channels including BBC, carpeted floor, marbled floor in the bathroom, lots of towers, two free bottles of mineral water, etc. Frankly speaking, I could not have asked for more as the accommodation was cheap.

We had a baby cockroach in our room and the shower wasn´t working properly. Otherwise, the room was pretty comfortable and breakfast was alright.

I just feel the curtain should be more clean and i went there quite a few times only the curtain always make me angry!it´s seem didn´t change before BUT VALUE 4 $$$$$$$$$$%

Supreb location where you can enjoy food and drinks followed by a late Night shopping on the road side. Waling distance to everything that you need. Hotel need a revamp a bit old and give the place a fresh look otherwise everything is prefect.

Good location and not too costly.

The staff were friendly with a great and very helpful travel/tour service. Detailed location information on exactly where the hotel is. Especiallly if a person is travelling via the airport bus would be very helpful. Also a brochure on handy nearby tourist sites would be helpful.

Great location combined with the right price make the Bangkok City Inn the smart choice for the budget vacationer.

Otherwise, it would be difficult to give instructions to the taxi driver as to where the hotel is. However for shopping in Pratunam and surrounding shopping centers, there is none better. Food is also readily available around hotel area. Single ladies have to be careful as the area gets rather dark in the night. Take taxi rather than walk back late in the night.

This place is very near to shopping complex but one thing i don´t like is that it is located at backlane.

excellent location. erawan shrine (4 face buddha), central world plaza, gaysorn plaza, pratunam market, big c... are all within walking distance. lots of great food around too... but of cos, do not expect 4 or 5 stars hotel services and facilities for the price we are paying. be prepared for occasional sightings of small cockroaches within the room.

Likes the location but only repeated morning breakfast

my girl friend at first wanted to stay in the hotel with me but somehow decide to leave 10 min later. the guy at work (in mid-night) charged me 400 bath for that and say a lots of thing can be done within 10 min...

Excellent location, near BIG C and Isetan, within walking distance.
Sucky Breakfast, variety not many to choose for.
Value for money so u cannot expect much. Quite comfortable, but spoilt bed frame, never ask for change cause never use that bed.
But request for queen size bed and high floor, but they never give though I mention in the internet booking, saying agent did not care much about request, so long they got BOOK the room will do. quite piss off though I BOOK 2 MONTH ago. Overall value for money, But make sure before booking in double check your request with the counter

BCI is at a good location, walking distance to Pratunam, Central World, Chitlom station and Erawan Shrine.

However, beware if u decided to stay in this hotel:
Reception staff are extremely unhelpful and dishonest. I requested for late check-out on the day of departure but was rejected, and was given an extra half hour (1230pm)! However, as my friends and I were not feeling well from the food we took, we were late and finally make it to the hotel lobby slightly before 2pm. We were told to pay 400baht for late check-out! We took the effort to drag every piece of luggage down just becos they kept saying "Cannot!" to our request for late check-out to find out that it´s actually ok as long as you pay 400baht!

While waiting for our transport, another tourist made a complaint at the reception and he was totally pissed with their responses. His room was still not made at 3pm and there wasn´t any toilet paper! He had to make a trip to the reception just to get one.

Room:
Functional but not really clean. We had a cockroach scrambling across the room at night. Also requesed for a non-smoking room which was not provided. To make smell like non-smoking, they sprayed (I bet is one big bottle) of air freshener but the room still reeks of cigarette smoke.

Lobby:
not very clean as well. Rather dusty.

Breakfast:
Not good and unappetizing.

Location is great. under 5 minutes walk to WorldTradeCenter and bigC. Rooms, it smells!. Sheets and pillows looks old. TV has only few channels. Little bit better than guest houses but it can be endurable if considering location and price.

I stayed at Bangkok CIty Inn for 2 nights. It was a budget hotel stay. However, for the price, there are 2 fantastic plus points, (i) the location is a stone throw from Pratunum Centre, (ii) the service provided by hotel staff is encouraging.

Location is good although it is tucked away from the main street. Near shopping malls and BTS station and easy access to siam square area. Good breakfast included in price.
Not the ritz, but would stay there again for the location.

The attitude of the staff was really commendable. Service with a smile. The cleaning staff were so friendly and very quick and efficient. Food was very good.....no complaints at all in any direction.
