Classic Place Hotel Bangkok Reviews

This hotel is based in the heart of Bangkok city where walking distance to near by shops & catching air condition taxis or a fast ride in a tuk-tuk is not a problem.Where friendly staff are waiting to greet you to make sure your stay is comfortable.We have stayed at Classic Place Hotel on both our previous trips to Thailand & look forward to staying there again.The last time we stayed there was in Feb & Mar 2008 & always look forward to getting back there.We also went to Cambodia & Vietnam then returning back to this hotel as they held onto our bags while we back-packed for 2wks.

Living in Dubai elevates one´s expectations and that has a great influence on my review. The hotel is part of a conglomerate and it shows the management strength. However, personally, I would´ve prefered at least a 4-star or preferably 5-star establishment. Overall, the staff were nice, the food was decent, and the room was fairly clean and decent. I enjoyed my stay at Classic Place Hotel and I thank you for your help. I loved Thailand and expect to go back fairly soon and will use your services with pleasure. Thank you again

I liked the location (close to subway); I like the price; breakfast o.k. with variety;
Hotel does not have a fitness center which could have been helpful. Air-conditioning worked fine but vents in my room blew directly on my bed.

The hotel is very nice, and quite close to a subway station, which make it easy to change to BTS (sky train) to go the city centre. The room that we´ve booked in is very clean, except the air conditioning is slightly noicy. The breakfast is good, with plenty to choose from. The pool area is okay as well, but smallish. And there is a message place next door, which seems to be cheaper and better than the one in the hotel. But watch out that the food,ineternet and international phone call is really over priced! Basically the hotel is a great place to stay in, especailly for the amount of money paid!

Shower poor,Desk clerk we checked in with spoke little English.

Old Hotel with limited facilities. Location was Ok for Canal and train but is near overbridge and busy intersection. Long wait in Tuk Tuk or Taxi. If on a trip you will be last to be dropped off. Shower was dribbly and bathroom mouldy. Most staff helpful but black jackets on main desk were rude and unhelpful.
Summary : Go elsewhere

I had to ask for once for towel, and then the next for shampoo and bath foam even after they had clean the room
