Firstly, I would to comment that staying for one nite dosen't mean you allocate us at the lowest floor. For us it's a opportunity to view BKK at different location during night time. I'm quite disappointed at that moment of time when I received the room key. I basically don't bother to ask for higher floor as I expected them to do so. I guessed the high floor is reserved for thai people? If this is the case, I've to find a country that sell product BKK produced.

Secondly, I must comment that the breakfast are really suitable for me and it's a plus point for this hotel I've stayed.

Talking about nearest hotel to Chatuchak Weekend Marke, frankly speaking your hotel are not the nearest. There're many hotels nearby which I've overlooked.

Thirdly, ask the taxi to go to places of tourist attraction, I think he don't even know how to go eg MBK and China Town. Well, I think you better look on to these situation or problem which really bring bad impression to your state ( BKK ).

Lastly, when the next time I visit BKK, hopefully wouldn't have such bad experience.

Btw, I alway booked Baiyoke Suite or Sky for information.

Thanks
Jimmy Tan

Very good service, though some of the staff struggle with English or don't speak it at all...but you'll be fine. Location isn't so great, nearest Skytrain station is too far to walk. 7 Eleven is virtually next door but there's one on every block in BKK. Overall, a pleasant experience here.

Good and Acceptable stay

the hotel was really clean... but as a tourist, i would expect a tourist area.. because, the hotel was more for business people around.. having dinner, having gathering.. but it was not so bad... however, the room was really spacious.. THE 7 eleven is so across the road... convenience.. the Chatucak is also really near.. however, the sky train is a little far, but the nearest was Saphan Kwai station.. the halal food can be found along the street located near the hotel itself.. it was recommended by the bellboy.. however, for me, i won´t stay here anymore.. because its a little difficult to travel around.. there was no night market even during weekend... so which means, i am going to stay in a shopping-friendly area during my next visit to BKK.. howEVER BKK is an AWESOME place to stay in.. coz we ourself, are resembling people in Thailand.. similar looks and features.. GO GO BKK!!!

This hotel is nearby Chatuchak Weekend Market, just need about 10 minutes drive from hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days 2 nights. Overall are good. However, some of the reseptionest could not speak English. Anyway, they are quite helpful even they can´t speak English as well. Room is very clean without the kettle jar, so can´t make any hot drink in the room and the room abit old.I think they should upgrade it.Breakfast is good. Actually this hotel is nearby the chatuchak weekend market, just need drive 10 minutes from the hotel. If you go to China Town and Siam Square, need about 30 minutes from the hotel provided don´t have tracfic jam.

Great Value

The hotel is very well priced...so are the massages...500BT for 2 hours!! Across the road is a 7-11 and about a 20 min walk away is a Tesco Lotus Shopping Centre, plus there are many places to eat close by. Overall all is a great hotel with a nice little roof top pool. However if looking for somewhere close to the city try elsewhere...is not a city hotel...but great anyway :) Will stay again!

you can get better for the money in bangkok

the unfriendly hotel staff cater more for business clients than backpackers or tourists. the rooftop bar is no longer in use. there is no internet. on the plus side the rooms are clean spacious and have what you would expect or a good hotel but ultimately there are better for the money in bangkok.

I like their rooms, they are big enough and the beds are ok. The bathroom is big enough and clean. But the furniture is quite old. One thing is not good is, many taxi drivers don´t like to drive to there when at night. I think because the place was not famous place and didn´t have many visitors. So they can´t find other customers easily.

Not a bad hotel, however very hard to find Western Food out in that area - most kids are very fussy eaters. We picked that motel purely for the location near the airport as we had to pick someone else up from there after we arrived

Found there was a lack of English spoken which made it very hard. At first we were expected to share one twin room with 4 adults and 3 children - hard explaining that you booked three rooms with an extra bed in each. It worked out, funny now. I would stay here again for their location to the airport and Chutachuk markets, but that is about all - there really is not much out that way - well not that we found anyway

We liked the location: a 10 - 15 min. walk to the Skytrain Saphan Kwai. The rooms on the second floor were quite big and the price was right! There was no safe in the room and the American breakfast was poor. But overall we liked the hotel.

Best Service I´ve Ever Had!

by Emily from Toronto, Canada

Oct 4, 2005

I booked this hotel initially because it was close to the airport and it was a 4-star hotel. I had only planned to stay there one night, but I ended up staying there my entire week in Thailand. The hotel´s location, in my opinion, was very convenient. I found that the hotel looked exactly like it does in the pictures. The rooms were not as new as some other 4-star hotels I had stayed in, but they were very spacious and everything was extremely clean. The restaurants at the hotel were great, and served excellent food at a great price.

The best part about this hotel, which is why I decided to extend my stay instead of going to another hotel, was the service it provided. The service went above and beyond anything I had ever experienced in the past. All the staff were very friendly and professional, and they spoke excellent English (for a Foreign hotel).

There was a tour desk at the hotel which provided daily tours to any of the areas you wanted to see. They had a list of popular tourist destinations, but they were also open to going anywhere you asked them to. The hotel would provide a comfortable car and driver to take you to your destination, and in addition to this the driver would also be your tour guide if you so wished. I went on tours 5 out of the 6 days I spent there simply because it was so convenient. I didn´t have to share the tour with other people, I go go where ever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and could spend as much time at each place that I desired. These tours were very inexpensive, and the drivers/tour guides were extremely friendly, knowledgeable about all the placed I visited, and knew more than enough English.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone that travels to Bangkok. I plan to visit again, and I´m sure that I´ll stay in the same place.

Real Asian atmosphere

by Marisa from Bochum, Germany

I booked the hotel for the price and because we just had 1 1/2 days in Bangkok and wanted to be near the airport and the Chatuchak marked. The hotel is not as nice as the website shows you. Maybe it was a 4 star hotel a long time ago, but today the rooms are a little old and dirty - especially the walls and the carped. The blankets were quite old but the sheets and the bathroom clean. The rooms are spacious though and you are within walking distance to Chatuchak (it still took me more than 30 min) and to the Skytrain. The breakfast is OK. It has a small but nice swimming pool on the roof terrace which was not used by anyone because obviously it is a hotel where only Asian business people stay. There were no tourists besides us, the staff spoke little but enough English. All in all a good place to stay if you don´t want to spend much money and be near the airport and the market.
