There's a pleasant restaurant with wicker chairs and a coffee corner. Upstairs, the light-filled rooms surprise and delight with warm cotton fabrics, teak-wood furnishings and ultra-clean tiling. Rooms have either fan or air-con, and all have hot water. Lamphu House remains a budget choice in so far as the rooms are small and simple, lacking things like TV, minibar and bathtub. However, the polished floorboards, thick bedcovers and wicker lamps will sooth your senses far more than any standard hotel amenities.
