far from A, B, and C gates but very clean
The room is clean and comfortable. Complementary breakfast is poor. High price, but not extremely high. If very much tired or with small children, recommended to stay. Internet is cheap, 6 hours for 4 USD. I have access to airline F class lounges, but dayroom is more comfortable.
Excellent location for short transit times
For travelers with a short transit time this is the best hotel. No need to pass through immigration and check out, you can stay within the airport. However, you do need to absolutely check with your airline about transit policies - many airlines refuse to transfer luggage if the transit time crosses over a calender day (so if you arrive at 11.30pm and the next flight is after 00.01 am then this is the next day). If you have a longer stay then you can get cheaper hotels within a 30 minute drive of the airport, but for location and convenience the Louis Tavern Dayrooms are the best.
Great location
by M Thompson from Australia
Difficult to find. Compact triple bed room, but clean. Too expensive.
clean and comfortable
by Kristy from United States
You can't get any more convenient than right in the airport. It's quiet, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, though the rooms are quite small. However, it has just what you need after traveling for over 24 hours - a clean bed and a shower. Breakfast is included; some of the options are interesting, but it was satisfactory. Expensive, but great to get a chance to sleep for a few hours and to take a shower.

Great well location in the airport but expensive alot
Excellent location
Good for stopover rest but could be excellent, good room and good service but expensive
Excellent Location but poor food and expensive room charge
by Motoko from Osaka Japan
Location was fantastic but the all day breakfast was rubbish and the room charge was too expensive for what it is. TV in the room didn't work.
The only adventage of your hotel is location. All other was not exciting at all
by Oleg from Sydney, Australia
I even did not have a toilet paper in my room. The receptionist was not courteous. The assortiment of a breakfast was awfull
Great location
by Roger from Seattle, US
We had eight hours overnight between flights and were able to get a few hours sleep here, whereas we would have been able to get much less sleep if we had to leave the airport. The continental breakfast was a bonus.
Just alright
I had a 10 hour stopover in Bangkok, so this was a good place to have a lie down and a shower. It was clean enough, but like all the other reviews, very hard to find. Its a long walk to get there, so recommend leaving a good amount of time to get to your departure gate. Make sure you have either $20 US or 500 Thai Baht for the key deposit though.
Great for transit on long flights
Generally good ambience and comfortable room, although somewhat expensive for blocks of 6 hours
Good for stopover rest but could be excellent
by Barry Sharpe from Adelaide, Australia
Good clean, tidy, convenient room for stopover but little extras would make all the difference eg better lighting and toiletry shelving in Bathroom, free Wi-Fi. Breakfast modest.
good place to get some rest and freshen up
stayed twice during a recent trip
my husband called from the US but was transferred him to the wrong room twice .
tel. was not working during my 2nd stay so could not receive calls from my husband
a bit expensive and no choice for a 4 hr stay and had to take the 6 hrs
was clean and quiet and got some sleep and breakfast was sufficient
only day room in airport without needing to clear immigration
by jerry van meter from usa
location, best for transit overnight
Only very short people can sleep in these beds.
by Gregory Kruse from United States
Conveniently located in the new Bangkok airport, its a good place for a shower, but not comfortable for a proper rest because the beds are far too small. Better to just use the shower facilities just down the hall and save the difference in cost.
A Saviour for long hours & tired parents
by LC from South Africa & Cambodia
Louis' Tavern was a god-sent on that day. It is quiet, clean, hot shower, bed all you need for a stop-over in an airport. Not too far from Food outlets. Maybe a teeny-bit overpriced, but for the advantages it rendered we will definitely use it again!!!! Thanks LT
Convient for transit
by Rod Newton from United States
Louis Tavern was very convenient for a short overnight transit in Bangkok. Although it is expensive, it was worth to just go straight there, sleep and get up for our next flight. Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Ideal facility
by Denise Elson from Australia
Very good and will happily use again when in transit
Mediocre Answer to Important Need
by Howard Kaminsky from Los Angeles, United States
Transit hotel in the new airport. The rooms are not sound proof and through the night you hear the terminal announcements, and planes taking off. Rhere is also an internal hotel roaring noise on an every ten minute schedule.
The shower ran over because the drain was clogged with hair (not mine). The telephone number ofreception is not avaiable in the room, and the operator was off duty, so I had to get dressed to walk to reception in order to have the problem dealt with. All at 500 Baht an hour.
quite and nice for comfortable rest.

A good option between flights
by Loretta from London, UK
We had a 7 hour break between flights and the Louis Tavern Day Rooms are a good option if you need to freshen up and stretch out. The rooms are a bit of a hike from arrivals. Staff are pleasant and rooms are clean and functional with showers. The tv service in each room also displays upcoming flight departures which is handy. Overall, as day rooms go they're fine, and booking them on the Hotels2Thailand website was a straighforward process.
Good location with fast food close by.
by Robert D Lindsted from United States
It is wonderful to have a place in the airport, I am so glad to have such a facility available. Thank you so much for providing a dayroom. My flight always arrives at midnight and to not have to go out of the airport is such a blessing.
Unfinished Construction Elements
by Fred Lee Denby from United States
The air vent located on the floor has shart piece of metal that cut my foot. This metal should be cut amd /or filed down to avoid other guest experiencing that same problem I did.
Great place to know about.
by Ralph Davis from United States
We arrived late and had an early morning flight out. It was great to have a place that didn't require one to go through Immigration & Customs and at least get a few hours of sleep. Breakfast could be greatly improved.
reservation problem
by Gary Lausch from United States
I was not told I needed to go through immigration in Chiang Mai to be able to stay at the hotel until it was too late to do so.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!
by Mrs Pat Twist from United Kingdom
Was not informed this establishment was situated BEFORE immigration and luggage pick-up. Obviously, you could NOT pick up luggage BEFORE going through immigration. What did they expect you to do? Leave the unnatended luggage going round the carousel?
Had to be put up in an outside hotel (which was cheaper, but no refund). This defeated the object of staying in the airport, as I was only in hotel for 5 hours. Had to leave at 4am, so no breakfast. Was told to have supper, ex gratia, from the girl from Louis Tavern for my trouble. However, 'gentleman' from the Miracle Hotel would not allow me to leave the hotel (at 4am) without paying for the Room Service bowl of soup that I had. (By the time I reached hotel, the restaurant was closed!) They were downright rude and un-sympathetic, despite the fact that I had been travelling for almost 2 days and I had paid 'over the odds' for the room anyway!
convenient location
by Penelope Dawson from Canada
uninspiring decor
very basic roomsand overpriced
no internet in rooms
pleasant and efficient staff
convenient rest stop in busy airport

much easier to stay here for overnight connecting flights than travelling into Bangkok, or even nearby hotels. efficient service. limited breakfast menu but there are plenty of options outside the hotel

Clean and convenient for short layover sleep. Breakfast: Would be nice to have more healthful (whole grain) bread options.
by weerasinghe from auckland NZ
On our way to NZ from Sri lanka, I checked into your hotel with my daughter. It was so convenient and comfortable.(August 19th Night) On our recommendation, My wife will be coming to stay shortly. please extend the same service to her.
Blocked toilets and basin, no snacks, expensive
by Stuart Tiller from New Zealand
Very expensive and not value for money. The only good feature was its convenience for transit passengers.
Convenient location too pricey
by Maria Angeles Caballero Jordana from Spain
Louis Tavern Dayroom at Suvarnabhumi is so convenient but the price you pay for 6hours is just as much as getting a full night's stay at a hotel in BKK. Almost 100 usd for 6hours is over the top.
Convenient but expensive for short stay
by Maria A ngeles Caballero Jordana from Manila, Philippines
It is hard to locate in the net and bookings only accepted but agents, that may be hard to trust. Expensive for such a short stay but convenient so I guess they take advantage of it.
average service
very convenient for a few hour transit - quite pricy though!
Top location but noisy
by Victor Thorpe from United Kingdom
I stay at Louis' Tavern as a transit option, because it means that I do not need to leave the airport complex overnight, save a minimum of time and I am on hand for the next day's flight. But the problem is that guests arrive at all hours of the night or day and they and staff are often noisy and unthoughtful. More effort needs to go into making this a quiet retreat where people can actually get a good night's sleep. Also, why is the default period only six hours? I havee to make special arrangements at the hotel on arrival to stay 8 hours (another 1,000 baht); it should be possible to choose the time period on the booking website.
no frills comfort
by Bhakti Saraswati from Australia
Basic room, no tea making facilities. Thai TV only. Take your earplugs - walls are a bit thin!
much needed respite after long haul travel with two kids.
by emma Murray from New Zealand
Had no complaints.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Rooms very comfortable and clean... everything you need in between two very long flights!
Suggestion there be more dimmed lighting in room.
Unfit for purpose
by Anthony from Australia
The primary function of a day room, for me at least and I suspect maost other travellers, is to be able obtain some sleep, in my case between two night flights. The rooms at Louis' Tavern were clearly not designed with noise attenuation in mind; they are of cheap construction, with services plennum underneath that amplifies and transmits sound between rooms (even those at some distance)such that sleep is continually disturbed.
My recommendation would be, if time permits, to book a real hotel outside the hotel - it certainly won't cost you anymore than a 6 hour block of time at this sub-standard establishment.
Restful oasis on a long layover
by Juleen Eichinger from United States
We had a 14-hour layover in BKK on our outward journey and a 12-hour layover on our journey home. Enough time to do some business in BKK and take a 6-hour nap at Louis Tavern before catching our connecting flight. So grateful that BKK airport has dayrooms available; wish U.S. airports did the same.
You can make the experience better
Not everything was bad. Good location, convenient for transit and we appreciated the breakfast. Poor service by unfriendly staff at the front desk. I will use it again though for conveniences, but hope the attitude of the front desk staff improved from last year.
Very good
by Joni Said from United States
Very good for our purpose. Could have used hand soap for sink, face cloths, and hair dryer.
Couldn't be a better location
by Aloon Khounborinh from United States
Do not have to leave the airport. Execellent to catch hours of sleep for a long connection flight. Breakfast was ok. Kinda pricy for 6 hours though.

by Marilyn Whitcher from United States
I thought the price was too high for a 6 hour stay.
Best location for transit
by Wilford T. Adams from United States
If you have a short connection in BKK, Louis Tavern is the best place to stay. Don't have to leave the airport, and don't have to go through immigration.
It's a goog choice

Clean, comfortable rooms, Great way to spend a stopover
by Penney from United Kingdom
No need to go through Customs, clean and comfortable. Great to have a shower.
Convenient sleep between flights
by Curtis Goff from United States
You can only stay if you arrive via an international flight. We learned this after arriving during our return trip and were unable to stay.
The PC in the room did not work.
Very convenient for short layovers
by Mr. Arthur Stukey from United States
I liked the location...right up in the main structure of the airport. Neighbors were all quiet and considerate of the situation where we are probably there only to get some needed sleep.
great location when you are in transit to another international airline but not good if one of the airlines is Air Asia
by Deirdre Pearson from Vancouver,canada
I liked being able to check in and go do some duty free shopping!!
Good room for a short nite in Bangkok.
by Mr. Arthur Stukey from United States
Clean, efficient, room for a 6hr international layover at Suvarnabhumi, without the need to clear customs and re-enter thru security. Having coffee and continental breakfast food available was a pleasant surprise.
Excellent option if you have a long international flight lay-over
by Clare Scott from United Kingdom
I made a reservation as I had a 5 hour layover in bkk and discovered it was only about £10 more than purchasing 2 airline lounge passes. So yes, Clearly this is a more economic option if travelling with someone else. The hotel location, privacy and convenience are unparalleled and I would absolutely do it again.
The free breakfast is rather poor and the rooms are small with only internal windows. However such items are not high on my list inbetween two long haul flights. The location is perfect (esp for qantas flights), rooms clean and bathroom completely functional. After a shower and a lie down in a nice quiet space I was much more ready to face the next flight.
Good location but expensive
by M.L.GOVIL from Delhi, India
The Hotel location is good, but difficult to find more information on the net
Very convenient
by C. G. from United States
Not having to go thru immigration, etc., when arriving in the middle of the night and then leaving early the next morning is great! Rooms were small, but clean and comfortable, and everything was pretty new. There is tv with CNN and BBC and also the airlines' arrivals and departures. You do have to walk down a long, dim, slightly offputting corridor to reach it, but it seems safe enough. It's much easier to find than in the old Bangkok airport.
good location
by Dr. David NUNEMAKER from France
bed comfortable, room clean;
too much noise in hallway by staff
front desk staff unhelpful--sassy even,
and didn't have correct details even
though confirmed...
Too expensive for 6 hours
avoid immigration lines on brief transits
by do not use from United States
Quite confortable, and definitely better than having to deal with immigration if you just have to layover 4-8 hours, especially when your flight arrives at midnight.
Need better instructions on how to work little water heater in the shower. Never did get hot water. Furnishings and tv nice though.
Inconveninet location with clean room and facilities
by Samsun Nehar Akbar from Japan
The place is inconvenient. However, the rooms were clean. The food was not bad. But, it seems a little expensive.
