Take no notice of peeps bad mouthing the breakfast, if you go there for the breakfast you are there for the wrong reasons, you should never be up in time for that in such a spot of bangkok.
Its location location, the infamous nana plaza is right next to it, no other reason to be at this hotel other than that, if you know this place then its the place to be, if you dont please do some research about your planned holiday, if you dont, you will pleasantly suprised or horrified. Over all, amazing location

Great place to stay for the female entertainment. Across from Nana Plaza, short hop to Soi Cowboy and Beer Garden. Very good buffet breakfast included.

I have been trying to get a room on the 8th floor for the last 3 times I have been to this hotel for a good view, but the highest I've got is the forth floor? It's good if you only want to look at a brick wall when you open your curtains.

We liked the swimming pool, but didn't like the environment inside the hotel due to the smell of mould, both in corridors and in the rooms, probably caused by the carpets. Very unhealthy especially for alergic people. All carpets should be shiftet out and replaced by wooden floors or stone tiled floors which can be cleaned properly. That will solve this problem of bad smell.

Nana hotel right in the middle of everything, was fantastic to slip into the pool after a days sightseeing. Breakfast was great we all found plenty to eat, got hooked on red pawpaw. Found condensed milk hard to take in tea, but you can buy milk from one of the many 7-11 stores around.Staff were great, got all our messages quickly, very polite. We opened the curtain in our room and found a brick wall for a view, which we found quite funny and even took a photo of, if a view is important book one, to us it was a very comfortable room and a clean bed.Only there to sleep. Go early for your drinks at the bar downstairs great prices and not so many working people. Overall great place to stay for the price and destination.

Nana hotel is an Iconic place so i had to stay there at least once in my life. But I won't be back. Fantastic location so if you simply have to be part of nightlife central it's the place to be but the superlatives end there. The corridors and to some degree the rooms are really showing their age and the lingering odor of paint or perhaps damp (I didn't actually see any fresh paint, anywhere) was ever present. Reception staff were efficient but the humour and air of welcome I've felt at other hotels in the area was not there. Restaurant staff much friendlier. Breakfast was fine though lacked the cereal choices I, and probably other western visitors, would prefer. There is better value elsewhere, this would be a last resort.

It's an iconic place so I had to stay there at least once in my life. But I won't go back. Not because it's horrendous it's simply getting old, and it smells. The rooms smelt musty, the hallways of fresh paint though I'll be buggered if I could see where fresh paint had actually been applied. The pillows sucked, felt like my head was on a sandbag. Don't start a pillow fight with these things you might give someone concussion.
I can't add to anything that hasn't been said before about the location, close to transport, the night life, many eating options etc. Tip top location.
Staff were polite without being overly friendly. Some places you stay they make you feel welcome, you can have a joke with the staff and they show genuine interest in your activities etc. Not Nana but they do their job. Breakfast is good without being great. Buffet but like a lot of places in Thailand they lack the cereal options that myself, and probably a lot of other westerners prefer but if you are into eggs and bacon then pig out to your hearts content and finish with some fruit and pastries.
At around 1400 baht per night you are paying a premium for the location. If that's your priority the you can't really beat it. Dawin down the road is much nicer but 400 more with no breakfast. Swiss park in Soi 11/1 is similar cost and midway between nana and cowboy and a better breakfast. A better choice I think but I avoided it this time due to renovations going on. Majestic suites also good in this range but the included breakfast barely hits the spot and no pool if you want one.

Nice place, nice staff, nice location.

Loved the location, closest to the action you can get - period! Staff very friendly and helpful. Excursions easy to organise, and lots to do outside. Only drawbacks. Bad bits: swimming pool was a bit cold, and I could never find anything I really fancied in the breakfast buffet.
Beware the staff chaufers - one of the Volvo drivers is terrifying to be a passenger with, even by Bangkok standards!

Good value for the money, very good if you like the nightlife in the area. If you are a family with children find another hotel. But for us.. we come back soon...

Good location but staff terrible!
by T Price from Aberdeen

I went in to ask if there were rooms available. The lady at reception was very rude. I again taled to her politely and she was again rude to me and my girlfriend. The room was retro Austin Powers style and the bathroom was filthy. Never again. The only good thing about Nana Hotel is the location. I have stayed in some rough hotels but from the start the manners of the lady at reception put me off ever staying there again!
