Conveniently located downtown. However, small rooms and up a little. There is no balcony, and air vents should also be room for improvement over the vents. But the service is good.

Appearance, image is good. New renovated rooms but facilities needs improvement.

Water supply is not warm and too weak for bathing.

Breakfast was very good during our staying. Location of the hotel is quite easy to go anywhere. Food in the restaurant is OK. But Parking lot is quite small sometimes.

Overall I found the hotel rooms very nice (could stand a paint job) and the staff most pleasant. Everyone was courteous. The breakfast was good but lacked bacon on the buffet. Of course, if you don't like bacon half cooked this is not a problem as it is near to impossible to find crisp cooked bacon anywhere in Asia.

The downside was the absolutely filthy carpet on the fourth floor and the smell in the hallway, ugh! It was embarrassing. I checked the other floors above and they had very nice carpet and the hall way was clean and smelled pleasant. I suspect the 4th floor is reserved for discount bookings and not for those who book direct or upgrade rooms. Also, thought I was told my room was a non-smoking room it became so only by removing the ashtrays. Definitely could smell cigarettes afterbirth in the room and throughout the hotel as smoking is permitted anywhere.

The area is one of the not so nice parts of Bangkok but definitely a step above Nana area. Prices are greater here for entertainment but that is mostly because this area caters to Chinese entertainment, while Nana features local talent.

I normally wouldn't of stayed in this area but it was convenient for business I was conducting. The subway system is very close and a large shopping center is near.

If you are looking for a moderately priced hotel in this area I would recommend it but if you get put on the forth floor, check to see if the carpet has been replaced or not. Totally ruined my opinion otherwise good. Plan on using A/C if you don't like the noise of the street or viewing the sewage plant on the back. View is good just don't look down, haha.

first trip everything good , on return trip 4 days later bui;ding work had started and very noisy in room contstant driling and banging of machinary so much that you could not hear TV or talk, had to spend most of the day out of the room which we found unacceptable, did complain however nothing done until we eventually saw manager who offered us another room

Corridors can have better lighting.
Porter service excellent.
Should change the used bathrobes daily
Towels can be better laundered - some were smelly!!
Overall, pretty OK

Near subway station and walking distance from fresh market. 24 hours open convenience store is in front of the hotel. A little small room with no bathtub but convenient location and cheap room rate.

In general the hotel is good, rooms, services, breakfast & good staff, but AC inside the rooms is little noisy.

This is the third time I used the hotel, I was disappointed this time as I was given twin bed instead of king size bed I've requested and the water pressure from shower head was so weak I couldn't take a proper shower. I will continue to use the hotel because of its location.

i dislike it doesnot have swimming pool and donot have variety fo restaurant just one rest but the prices food are very cheap if compaire with another hotel

the hotel is conveniently positioned, 2 min walk from MRT station, short walk to main street, 7-11 just across the street, very nice breakfast and very nice room, friendly and helpful staff I stay there every time I'm in Bangkok, really what I'm looking for, great value for money, and they have very competent and friendly tour agent as well.

I find the Restaurant staff especially 2 ladies who were doing waiting duties were not friendly.Not smiling and always sour face.Had breakfast there for 2 days.I wish the 2 ladies could just smile or pretend to smile and make the atmosphere better.Because of them, My friends and I decided to look for outside food.No one wants to see fierce and sour face staff.
Please note they are beautiful ladies and I hope they cheer up in their workplace.Everything else is just fine and well. The people in Thailand is very friendly.keep it up.

-Very good location (close to undergraound station). Sometime taxi driver has problem finding the location, but be ready with a map with Thai language explanation.
-Airconditioning in the room is noisy.

I had stay this hotel 3 years ago. I think the hotel has undergone renovation recently and has made the hotel look very pleasant and clean. The location is good and the breadfast is great. the hotel rate is also very reasonable. I would definetely be back to this hotel whenever i visit Bangkok

Location near MRT made travel around Bangkok relatively easy. Staff were helpful and very polite.

Perfect location, just 2 minutes walk to the MRT. Excellent breakfast selection both American and Asian. very friendly and competent staff, room service is good enough, for a promotion rate of 1240 BHT this hotel is really excellent value for money and even more, forgot to mention that 7/11 is just across the street.

I was booked on the superior room in the new wing nut was given a room at the old wing

Location, near to Huay Kwang MRT Station. But if you take taxi, must tell them behind Emerald Hotel or best is print out the map. Or tell them its near JUSCO, ROBINSON, CAREFOUR. Taxi driver not familiar with location as also hidden behind Emerald Hotel. Convenient to go many places by MRT subway.
Food is overeall ok.

Only this is that they took almost 20mins for me to check in. Hotel check in staff are not very friendly but maybe its only certain staff.

Value for $$, acceptable for the type of hotel.

Our room was very comfortable but definitley in need of new carpet. Breakfast buffet needs a change of variety from each day.

I stayed in the studio room in the new wing.It is pretty small. But it is maintained well and clear.And the buffet breakfast is not bad,more than expectation,a lot of choices.The location is ok,very close to the carrefour/robinson and the subway.

Shopping area like Robinson, Carrefour near by.

I like the location, availability and the cleaning of the hotel. Room is quiet comfortable. The front desk should improve their English.

The room is big. Good maintenance in keeping it clean. The bathroom is basic, clean but without bathtub. Overall is value for money. Breakfast is good with several variety to choose. Only thing is the taxi driver has difficulty of finding this hotel as we has show them the address in Thai. (Better tell to go to Emerald hotel which are infront of Palazzo Hotel.

Bell and concierge personal need to be more friendlier in helping and receiving the guest compared to other hotel that I have stayed in the area.

Local restaurants Samboon and Kwang Seafood are great. Subway station short walk.

Excellent location with MRT only 5 mins walk away.
but no bathtub is a let-down and no hot water and safe desposit box in room. Breakfast is great but same stuff every morning, get bore after 2nd day, need to change menu at least every other day.
Anyway, overall this is a value for money hotel with excellent location.

Convenient location without the noises.
Fourth time stay in this hotel.

Dislike: Not properly upkept. Room look like a run-down and low-cost hotel.
