Very good hotel with good value for the money

A little bit to much noise from the traffic.
But close to buses, shopping-plazas and restuarants etc. Really nice.

I spent numerous hours on selecting our accomodation in Bangkok. After reading many reviews I chose Silom City Hotel and my family were not disappointed. Location was great, service was always polite and helpful(on checking in we were given a complimentary welcoming drink!) and interconnecting rooms we had was great for the family. Breakfast was adequate and varied slightly each morning. Had no problems getting from the airport, especially having the map print -out in Thai. For our modest accomodation the price was not expensive and as seasoned travellers we only spent the time to sleep there, otherwise we were always out and about, but appreciated the comfortable room and bathroom facilities when we were there. We'd certainly recommend and stay there again.
