great location right at Patpong while quiet being in a courtyard right off Surawong Road. Best features of this hotel: 24h Breakfast and no hassle visitor policy. Hotel is good, if a bit won by now, but the location and the convenience still make it my top choice in Bangkok.

All staff is kindness and keep a smile.
There is an elevator near the front desk, and a guard-man helps with opening and shutting of the door. In addition, security is perfect, too.

No problem inviting guests back (even overnight.)
Good laundry service and breakfast avail. 24 hrs, in room if required! Location is great, weekly management cocktail party is a MUST attend, good fun! Limousine service is excellent.
I believe all rooms have been refurbished in 2005/6, I´ll be back in July this year, great place to stay.

And you should stay a few more days here too. Because upon check in they give you a name card of the hotel with your name printed on it. Its good for SOHO business and also show this namecard to the taxi driver to get back to the hotel. There are about 20 pieces so that is why I think you should stay a few more days and acting as if this is your base during your stay in Bangkok. Local calls is free and free Internet, early check in, late check out ... again all make this a good place to use as a base, for both biz and also leisure.

Door boy was initially very friendly and happy greeting us. We were thinking to pay him a great tip to help us get around other places too but he showed his unhappy face straight away since we didn´t tip him immediately after he show us our room. I have a habbit in travel to see who is ´really´ helpful and delay tipping but tip people handsomely for real service but this boy fail terribly. But then again, my this type of ´service first tip later´ does not work well in Bangkok anyway.

This is the closest location you can get to Patpong and still enjoy a cozy environment. Forget about Montien and Tawena, Tarntawan is the one you need if you are in this area. 3-5 mins walk to Patpong. And along that walk, you have a few choices of massage places. Which are fantastic after your late night visit to the Patpong go-go bars, walk back, get a massage before going back to hotel. This is a tourist place, so most things are tourist price. Bargain if you want or just buy the things somewhere else. If you come from a country with bigger currency, it wouldn´t cost much to you anyway ...

Do check for some safety guidelines when visiting night life shops, basic rule of thumbs is if someone is very pushy to ask you go somewhere, most likely its not worth going for.

Great room, clean, very nice and cozy. Bathroom is ok too but hot water comes slow. Just a standard size bath tub .

Complimentary set breakfast is average and ok. Have the choice of Continental, Thai, American, Japanese.

2. You have to wait for atleast 5 minutes after letting the water run until you get the hot water
