Fantastic service staff!

I had booked Ecotel earlier this year and i stayed there in early May. location of the hotel is rather hard to find for first timers and especially if you cant really speak thai, taxi drivers themselves dont know where Ecotel is too. my suggestion is to tell the drivers to bring you to Petchaburi Soi Sam-sip-Hah (it means 35), you will see a huge night club on your left. follow down the road it will make a left turn. should be able to see the hotel on the left after 5 secs from the turn.
when i arrived with my friend, the hotel was fully booked with people from some health convention. the hotel staff offered me a free upgrade of my room to a mini family suite with 2 queen sized beds just for 2 persons. the bell boy (or rather bell-man) lead us the way and introduced us to everything they have in the room. he was very funny too. the room did not have enough lights though but it was not really an issue. i loved their wireless internet service and overall i feel that its very worth it for such price in bangkok.
booking with hotel2thailand.com is also a breeze. very competitive price as compared with other websites. thanks a lot!!

โรงแรมน่ารักดีค่ะ การตกแต่งภายในห้องโดยรวมโอเค ของใช้ต่างๆในห้อง มีทุกอย่างเหมือนโรงแรมทั่วไป ห้องมีระเบียงแคบ ๆ ไม่สามารถเปิดออกไปข้างนอกได้ โรงแรมมีมินิมาร์ทด้านล่างข้างๆ Reception อาหารเช้าอร่อยใช้ได้ค่ะ

Taxi drivers do have a problem locating this hotel. In addition, the services provided by staff is way under my expectations. The room service took almost 20 mins to bring a flask of hot water up and when we requested for a kettle, I was informed that the hotel has only 3 kettles and my aunty's room has been given a kettle and was told to share, which is ridiculous! I'm staying on the 4th level and my aunty is staying on the 3rd level. Is the staff implying that I should go down to the 3rd floor every day to get hot water from my aunty's room? The room is poorly lit and I suggest that the hotel should provide two keys to occupants instead of just one! It's inconvenient as I have a large group of family with me and should one of them wants to return to the hotel or divert to other locations, we may have to wait for his / her return before we can come back to the hotel.

Clean hotel

The Ecotel is about 20 minutes walk to Central World. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly, Breakfast is around the corner, the dining room will be ready next year. Will certainly stay at Ecotel again, but only if they maintain their standard.
