For the price this hotel has excellent facilities and great service. Carpets could need changing in the rooms. Thats my only complaint. All in all I stay here everytime I come to Bangkok and never really think about changing.

Nicely done hotel, very comfortable, close to subway. Best of all the breakfast was outstanding, one of the best I have had in Asia, including stays at 5 star hotels. Did not have time to use the pool, which looked nice.

This place has never disapointed me - and I've stayed there 4~5 times. The rooms are large and cosy with lots of wood. The hotel is luxurious with being over-priced. Certainly, this place is excellent value for money. Down-sides require being ultra-picky: its not near the river or the palaces, and is not an international luxury brand hotel: thus not "truly" 5-star. Yet, if such snob factorism isn't an issue and location not an issue - then look no further -- the Emerald's value for price delivers in full making this hotel a sure bet.

This hotel is top value with excellent facilities. Although not in a big tourist area. Make sure you take hotel address card. Taxis dont seem to know hotel

Room is big and toilets are clean. Real value for money and location is good for food & night activities. However it is time for them to change the carpet in the rooms as they look old & dirty.
