I like the hotel and staffs and I appreciated them .

I left passport at the hotel and I realized it on my way to the airport. When I called the hotel, manager sent my passport to the station at once.So I could fly to next place.

There are many hotels in Bangkok, but the hotel is BEST of all the hotels.

Terrible Hotel - Shame on Bangkok

This is what one should read before booking a room at Wall Street Inn, Surawongse, Bangkok. I and my two friends stayed at Wall Street Inn from June 18 to June 22 and were horrified with our experience. Originally we were 2 friends to stay for 3 nights which cost me 3480 BHT while booking over the net. I had to revise my booking to 3 friends to stay for 4 nights for which the agent suggested that the regular room cannot accommodate an extra bed and therefore will have to upsize it to a superior room. For the superior room and an extra night I had to pay a difference of 5400 BHT. On reaching the hotel we were shown a superior room with extra bed with no room to walk around. Of course we did not take that room and had to again upsize it to a suite for which we again had to pay 4800 BHT. All in all we paid 14,080 BHT for four nights i.e. 3520 BHT per night. After paying a bomb of a price following is what we faced:

1. An additional charge of 500 BHT if you get a guest in the hotel for business or some fun.
2. A free set American Breakfast consisted of 2 slices of toast with butter and jam, two eggs (cooked as per choice) with a side choice of ham, bacon or sausage (any one), tea or coffee and a juice. No fruits, cereals and yogurt. I requested two more slices of toast for which I was presented a bill of 55 BHT.
3. My friend called for some ice for his swollen face. He was charged 88 BHT.
4. Ozonized drinking water (glass) bottles not even mineral water that were placed in the rooms not chargeable at other hotels – we had to pay 30 BHT for each bottle consumed.
5. I managed to meet unwelcome guests in my bathroom – two small cockroaches.
6. And here is the finale – While leaving we had three bags and a few hand baggage. We asked for taxi service for which we were suggested a van costing 1500 BHT. Since we found it steep we asked him to suggest something more economical. He said we could hire two cars and pay 1200 BHT. On request they agreed for two cars for 1000 BHT (500 BHT each). We drove off to the airport. A few meters away the driver said the charge was now 800 BHT and if it’s not agreeable we could jolly well get down. They actually stopped the car in the middle of the traffic and got us off. Luckily all the cabs were around us. We managed ourselves in only one taxi who agreed to drop us off at 300 BHT only with an extra toll amount of 70 BHT.

I suggest no one should stay in this hotel which is full of cheaters.

The location was great. Close to both BTS and Subway stations. Walking distance to the Lunpini Park. Lots of restaurant nearby. Breakfast was ok too. But, if you want to spend time in hotel, it may not be a good choice because some rooms do not have windows. We booked two rooms, and one had a small window (not a good view), but the other room had no window.

Staff was great and willing to help. Hotel was located down a side road. Was not sure about it at first but all worked out well. Hotel is kind of a dimond in the rough for the money.

Convenient location though very busy especially through the night, clean hotel, but rooms may be with no windows. Surprisingly hotel staff was trying to push you services you don’t need (limo, boat tour, massage) and it might get sometimes irritating. I would be back for the stay of 1 or 2 night but not longer. And promotional prices at Hotels 2 Thailand is really value for the money, I paid almost twice as less as regular rate.
