Very basic, in need of an overhaul, I found the majority of the staff very good, Breakfast was far better than most of the more expencive hotels that I stayed in in BKK. The room was dark, dingy, and not very clean,intermitent hot water,no tv for English speaking guests, Bars very expencive, £5.20 a pint ,when I stayed there I was the only one in there (?) A good place to stay maybe for one or two nights, Often very noisey at nights with other guests returning ..all in all 'you get what you pay for'' so dont expect 5 star when you are paying 2 star prices

The room was dark and very confining, if I were to stay there again I would try to have outer room, sometimes no hot water, and the price of drinks in the bar MORE EXPENCIVE THAN PARIS.

The only negative points ;;were the inner rooms were dark and very confining, and the cost of drinks in the bars were far too expencive the time s that I did use them I was the only customer there ,,but saying that the lady who greeted me at breakfast each morning (traditional attire) made the whole stay well worth it ,,thank you, I am back in Bangkok on the 29th of March so you may well see me again.. yes I would recommend your hotel to others

If you want a place in heart of china town, this place is the best choice. It's very convenient to go anywhere. Watson store is at the 1st floor of this hotel. Very perfect. Eventhough room is aging but it was competitive rate and worth.

i was charged 160 baht for a local phone call - more than a telephone call to the usa from an internet cafe. Do not use any of their room service. Charge too much. Internet usage is also very expensive.

I stood now the 10. times in White Orchid. The location to China town and Hualompong is excellent, also go to Indra-Area. The Hotel makes everyng new, also the bathroom, floor, new
television with many languages etc.
And, at last, I rent a car and I can parking in
the parking area for free.

It is really convenient to shop around the china town wholesales market. The hotel already make some minor renovation on their floor (carpet changed to tiles)and their set up one new spa massage service on 3rd floor it is really worth for $ because the price is so cheap only 350 baht per service.Sure,i will come back on next time to stay here again.Thank you hotel2thailand and you was gave me a best servie.

The only problem is some taxis refused to pick passengers to the airport. Their reason was that they were not allowed to pick up passengers on the way back from the hotel.

Lovely location - good food and great massages are just 3 to 5 mins away! The staff could communicate in simple english, which is good, but replied "I don´t know" to other queries, which is bad (queries included "how much for in-room massage/laundry/internet service located within the hotel").

I was at White Orchid Hotel from 12Oct to 15Oct.
It was a room with 2 beds.
Paid for the room which came together with the air ticket and transfer package in Singapore.
After reading terrible reviews online, I was expecting a disaster. But it turned out to be better than I originally expected.
The room was not 5star, but it was comfortable with good beds, lights and cool air-con. The toilets, although not new and shiny, was clean and bright. The hot water shower was a pleasant greeting when I checked-in. The TV set was equipped with international stations.
Breakfast at the hotel starts at 6am. A good time to have a quick bite then set off for tourist fun outdoors. The food was not the greatest, but hey, good food in Thailand is not found in hotels, but on the streets and the thousands of restaurants.
Service was good and all staff had a big smile on their face. Even the doorman had a friendly smile every morning, making the stay at this budget hotel feel like a 5-star enjoyment.

We like it because the price is right. For that price we are willing to put up with the quality of room (furnishing, carpets, fridge, bedding, bathroom). Had to call room service to get the fridge working after checking in.

The hotel location is quite convenient as it is near the MRT. It is also near to the two very good roadside seafood stall and the Thieve´s market. Room-wise, all i can say is that you pay for what you get.

I like the location and the food in China Town.
The service staff do not understand English and it is a great pain trying to find out anything from them. When asked about the Victory Monument, no one understand it. The bell boy therefore could not call the taxis for me to get there.

I like the food especially. It´s awesome! Fruits, convinence stall are all around, 7-11, watsons. They also has got taxis always ready to pick you up.Their staff are very approachable and very friendly. They take note of those who have once stayed in their hotels before and they recognises you and greet you.

However, the location of the place is not very convinient, it is neither near to the BTS, we still need to take a taxi or tuk tuk to the nearest BTS. They also do not have enough staff to attend to your needs fast, we have got to wait for quite some time, the breakfast is always the same. I have been there 3 times and all 3 times i am eating the same thing.

Been there many times for business trip. Although sometime water heater & air-con not working well just do a mild of remark to them, they will do their best. Do spare a thought for those tech. GIVE THEM A TIP!! They will throw in their life to service ur room....wink wink on the tech..they oni earn less den 5k thai bahts a month..wat do you expect them to smile at you while u have problems for them to solve?Cheers palz....for this kinda of money..its already a very good deal of hotel to stays in.IMPT..THE BREAKFAST NEED TO HAVE A BIG TURN CHANGE....SOMEHOW IT SPOILED MY MORNING APPITIEDE!!!!GOD DAMN IT!!!WAHHHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

Good location but staff dont speak much English. They were unhelpful with any questions asked and not just beacause of the language barrier. The VIP rooms are VERY BASIC so the standard rooms must be worse. The breakfast is ok but due to the location and amenities near by its not worth paying for it. Its pretty clean and it was cleaned every day. The rooms are drab but roomy and toilets are ok to. Room doors were not to secure so be careful with your belongings although they do have 24 hour security who were pretty good. Overall a great place if all you want to do is sleep in a clean room 4/10.

It´s cheap and clean. However, the reception area should be at the ground floor instead of on the 1st floor. It took me awhile to get to my room because not all the lifts are working. One is not functional during the daytime. When I took the stairs from the 5th floor to the ground floor the stairs are not well lighted. It´s very dim.

Get a hotel in Chinatown at this price is very good deal. People who expect super service, super nice hoteletc will never consider this hotel. Why?! Just always remember, U pay what U get!!!!! For me, I think this is value for money at the price they offer! So, don´t make so much complaints about everything if you want to get a cheap hotel!!

NO HOT WATER! Barely luke warm to cold. When requesting problem with the room to be fixed. The tech doesn´t communicate with the front desk. Our refrigerater didn´t work; it took a tech to bang on the back coils of the frig for approximately 10 minutes befor letting me know the frig didn´t work. Then, a replacement frig is brought without first checking it out to ensure it works! We had other problems, but I realy don´t want to use this as a forum for complaints. We checked out early as the frustration with the stay was more than the economy of the hotel.
