I have stayed here many times. I started to use this serviced apartment around mid 2005. I enjoyed the clean spacious studio rooms. The studios are big even with a small living room/kitchen. There is a personal safe in each room to keep your valuables. When I first started to stay here the price was around 1800 Baht. The problem I have with the place now is that even the studio room is now closer to 2,500 baht. Even with the nice room I do not know if you are getting value for your money now. For long stay visitors they do have much better rates though. I would normally stay here for at least one month so I get the monthly rates.
The location is further down soi 22. It was a good walk if you are healthy and need a little exercise no probably to get to Sukumvit road. I would sometimes cut through the Imperial Queen Park Hotel (across the road) which cuts the walk to the BTS in half. But there is actually much to see and do on soi 22, foot massage, beer bars, nice restaurants, and a trendy vodka bar/club (which as a bar made of ice). There is no free shuttle service to the nearest BTS. For the money they want they should offer this service.
The gym is very small but has some cardio equipment which works and a nautilus machine and some dumbbells. Not much else. The swimming pool is very small also and would be hard to use as a lap pool. There is also a washer/dryer room which is very cheap if you want to use that. I would normally just take my laundry across the street and have a laundry store do it for reasonable price.
It is best to not get a room facing soi 22, as there is a lot of noise from the road that carries to the room. There is a small resturant/coffe place which I would go to all the time. The food there was a good price and not bad. There is also a Japanese resturant, a salon, and I believe a few other stores in the car parking lot.
Overall a nice place to stay with a good staff. When I stay in Bangkok for a month or more I will always stay here.
