Good location, Close to everything
by Ranjit Stephen from Canada
Good location, Easy to find & get around. Central spot,Close to Shopping & places to eat. Terminal 21 shopping mall close by & 5th floor Food court is good. Very big & Clean rooms, Very Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Terrible Management,No apologies for their mistakes. Dont recommend at all
This is my second time using this hotel. I've booked & paid for 2 rooms (1 for my family and 1 for my firends) however it turns out that their computer did'nt have my friends booking records and they did not know how to deal with their mistakesthey ended up making my firnds sleeping inthe TV room. Also no apologies from the management. I questioned the staff the next day they did not care about it. So if you're looking for a cheap place there are many other selections in Bangkok, if things go wrong with your bookings or if you have a problem the staff wont and cant help you at all.(English ability is terrible) So think twice before you make your decisions with booking this hotel!!!!
Only one word " Excellent"
After renovation, it's only the hotel I stay in Bangkok. Value for money.
very good location for cheap price
by Constant Devet from Belgium
This hotel is really the best i ever had in Bangkok (in 15 years). Very clean, quiet for sleeping, close to MRT and BTS, swimmingpool, good airco, and very good price.

Nice Place-Little Hairy Getting To It
by Ken T from United States
Nice hotel. Like the pool and it opens at 6am! Rooms are comfy. The shower is handheld with a nice flow of water. Some rooms may have a shower head holder about shoulder level if you're 5ft-10 / 178cm. Getting down to Soi 19 can be a little hairy at times. There's no side walk on the left (from hotel) and just a cutter with a little walk space on the right. Tricky going if you're toting luggage on wheels.
Folks are friendly. Girls are cute and always smiling but have very limited English. One guy who's there all the time is great and will be very helpful.
All-in-all, if I can get a good deal on the rooms, say around 1000Bt (30Bt to USD) I'd be back.

Very good location with good breakfast included
by mr L I Walker from United Kingdom
What a pleasure it was to find a hotel where you always felt like a VIP.With excellent inexpensive internet available and very friendly staff I would not wish to stay anywhere else in the Sukumvit area.
The Thai welcome awaits you here. Excellent value for money.
by Gerard Shannon from Brisbane Australia
I have stayed at Best Comfort many times through the year and keep returning. The staff have been so welcoming I now consider them as friends. Beginning with a standard room I have now booked into the Junior Suite for a month in October - such that I feel this hotel is my "home away from home". Service is all that I could hope for and the Staff give meaning to the term of Thailand being the "land of smiles". You walk to the MRT and BTS within two minutes and big hotels and fabulous restaurants (do try Yonglee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) within walking distance.
Ideal Sukhumvit base
by Michael Bromfield from United Kingdom
Excellentvalue as always. Have been staying here regularly for four years. Friendly staff, good location and clean rooms equals good value - probably 3.5 stars plus European equivilant standard. A/C could be a bit more powerful otherwise faultless.
A very nice and pleasant little hotel
by Tor Martin Hansen from Norway
A very good location, near center of "everything". You can easyli reach the hotel from subway and skyway. A very nice swimming pool at roof top and I can recommend this cosy hotel both to single and couples. A fine continental breakfast.
Downmarket but convenient
I like the location..in what used to be a quiet location .Convenient for the MRT and BTS ..Pool and gym are just words...concrete water holder and old gym equipment.Staff are nice...a lot to tip in such a small place.
It is a relatively clean, convenient, guest house at a reasonable cost for location ,in an increasingly crowded street..lots of construction nearby.
Nice place. Very friendly staff.
I stayed here for one week in 2008. If walking. the location is 15+ minutes away from the Sukhumvit. I really like staff. They were always greeting me with a smile.

A good buy for the money
by Ed Lembcke from United States
I liked everything, friendly staff, helpful. Comfort gives you your monies worth. I stayed there 3 months, they even kept my luggage during side trips!
quiet, relaxable, 24 hours security guard at the gate made me feel secured, 3 minutes walking to shopping mall, food stalls, skyline train and subway stations, sidewalk markets...
by Tom T N Pham from Canada
apartment hotel-type provides good atmostphere to relax and retreat after all day out. Price is reasonable. Location is convenient in Sukhumvit. Staff are very polite and helpful. They made you feel welcome everytime you step in the gate. No joiner charge is a plus. I would come back again at BEST COMFORT.
Things for improvement: Swiming pool and excercise facility need to be regularly clean up and maitain. It seemed no one wanted to use them because of the lack of maintaining.
Best Comfort needs to add more items for the breakfast menu.
Staff are helful with information but it will be great to have local tours, attraction information flyers in the room.
Overall, it is a great apartment-type-hotel.

clean basic hotel with accommodating staff. Slightly off Soi 19 but within walking distance of night time entertainment and cabbages and condoms restaurant. Slightlyworn rooms but comfortable.
Not a bad hotel but check further for better dollar for dollar value
by ashley davis from Australia
my biggest problem is with internet facilities , many essential programs such as Adobe are missing which is essential when trying to download booking information and Messenger was not available for windows Live hotmail.
There is better value around if you have time to look but overall not bad but the breakfast is 2nd rate "Continental" with a 40 bht surcharge for a very ordinary and small " American Breakfast"
Location was ok
by Pekka A Prittinen from Australia
Breakfast was ok but could have had a bit more variety. Room was rather basic for the traffic charged. Other than than, it was ok.
GREAT value for money
by Edward Lembcke from Thailand
Great location close to the the BTS as well as the supermarket. Plenty of food stalls up the street as well as 7-11 nearby. The staff at Chatra are wonderful and very helpful. This is a very good place if you plan to spend some time in Bangkok
Chatra Court has a excellent location in Bangkok... i love Sukhumwit road
by Jorgen Magne Larsen from Bodo - Norway

At this price a good value hotel with its own pool. Better to skip the meagre breakfast and buy your own. Would stay again.

by Dan Aasberg-Hansen from Sweden
Hotel whas ok,breakfast not so good. But overall it whas ok.
good location but the breakfast terible.
by Rakesh Sharma from India
The only thing that I disliked was that they do not have any room service and their breakfast was terrible I wish they could improve that at least. The other thing is that they charge 3% surcharge if you want to pay by your credit card.
Quiet and convinient
I like the make up of the rooms in a way, that you don´t have just bed and table. It´s almost like a real appartment with nice interiour and some decorations in in. Good location and nice staff. The only thing is that since three years ago, room prices went up 50% or even more. At least hotels2thailand made the best offer.
I would absolutely reccomend this place.
Next time again
by Andreas Jakob from Germany
hotel when you book, you can not be wrong, every time good service. Hotel and rooms are clean and quiet
Good hotel - lousy breakfast
by ashley davis from Australia
I would stay here again , I found the rooms well appointed , clean and comfortable.
The staff were excellent , reliable , efficient , courteous and helpful.
The breakfast is a miserable apology for a continental breakfast with a so called "American " breakfast on offer for an additional 40bht. - Don´t waste your money , it is tiny , unattractive with poor presentation.
There is no room service but a larger than usual fridge is provided with eating utensils and crockery but no electric jug . ( we bought our own).-a short walk to a good bar and restaurant makes it all convenient.
The pool is small but OK and a small gym is available.
Staff are really good but it should be noted that while internet is available there is no printer which is a pain in the butt if your booking flights or accommodation.
Excellent Value and Great Location
by Fadzlun Jamalludin from Singapore
Chatra court was fantastic. It is really value for money and the location is good. Just about 7 mins walk from the Asoke and Nana BTS and the Sukhumvit MRT is abit further off. We only took the cab after midnight when the trains werent running.
The room was clean and big, we satyed in a twin room with two double beds.
The staff was really friendly. Smiles all round.
There is a small pool on the top floor and a small gym. Breakfast was very simple.
Stayed there for 5 nights. Will definitelty come back to stay here when ever Im in bangkok.
Definitely value for money
by Yee Eng Koon from Malaysia
The only thing we will have issue is that 2-bedded suite with 1 bathroom may be an issue but as there were only 2 of us, the issue did not arise but I will have to reconsider staying here if there are more than 2 persons. However, for this trip, the 2 bedded suite suit us perfectly as we were able to use the WiFi Internet throughout our stay; the living room became our meeting room; the fridge and selection of utensils is adequate; the Continental Breakfast is adequate (we are not fussy breakfast persons plus that fact that the add-on for eggs and bacons at only Baht40 per person) and restaurants are close by. We have fresh and clean towels everyday. I would say this is a pretty good stay for a couple of businessmen.

Chatra Court Hotel: Does just what it says on the tin.
by A Laycock from United Kingdom
The photos aren´t over-glossy, the hotel isn´t over-glossy.
This is a clean, reasonably well looked after place. Rooms are clean and well kept, with a kitchen area. It´s in a convenient location (slightly confusing for the novice- it´s officially in Sukhumvit Soi 19, but it´s a side soi which runs parallel to Sukhumvit Road, linking Soi 19 to Soi 15).
The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is functional rather than luxurious, but all good. Got a great pool on the roof, next to a workable gym. Also got internet (but not free), although it´s a bit slow.
Best thing? Location. Taxi to Suvarnabhumi (New) Airport is around 200-250 THB on the meter (+ 65THB toll charges), taking about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Taxi to old Don Meang Airport is a little bit longer. Taxis use this soi as a cut-through to avoid traffic on Sukhumvit, so getting a cab is as easy as breathing. It´s also 5 mins from Asok Skytrain/Metro station, so about as easy as it could be in Bangkok to get around. Despite being so close to Sukhumvit action, the Soi is actually quite quiet, so it´s good to come home to. Good for a holiday, even better if you´re staying longer for work.
I´ve been here twice now, I´d stay again like a shot, and they do much better weekly and monthly rates.
For this budget, unbeatable.
Good location in quiet area
by CAILLE Philippe from France
Chatra court is a quiet place beetwen soi 15 and soi 19 on Sukhumvit road, the BTS is not so close (around 10 minute by walk), but se place is very clean and save with a swimingpool on rooftop, and breakfast includ until 11 AM. The staff are efficient and charming, so great place if you want to have rest.
Breakfast not very well

i went to this place, ask around and u can find it, good location actually very near to soi cowboy, i arrived at the hotel, good and friendly services by the hotel staffs, good english, i reach the room and ask to change a room to higher floor, not questions ask immediately change for me, very good !!! i ask for the nigjt market info, they call and check for me very good, never ask for any tips, i gave them 100baht really good. the room is great !!! the bed is superb comfortable!!! i really enjoy the sleep as i am a hard sleeper, its really good, aircon cools super fasts, with bath tub, hot water is working too, only flaw no toothpaste and toothbrush and breakfast i went in a too a sip of orange juices( if u compare to 5 star )then its not fair la, just expect home breakfast standard , but its did nt affeact me as i went out and enjoy breakfast, overall i will go again because its services and room very very good ! worth very worth , allow early check as i was early at 1pm and check out at 2pm too great !!
Eccellent location.
by IAN WILKINSON from United Kingdom
A quiet road but very close to the fleshpots of Sukhumvit. Helpful and understanding staff. Basic rooms clean and simple -with a fridge. As a frequent visitor to Bagkok, have stayed several times and been upgrades a couple of times to large and light suites. Stayed in many better hotels in Bangkok in my time, but in the price category and for location this cannot be bettered.
private and secure
by PeterAlexander from Austria
Its more a serviced appartment than a hotel. the location is 10 min walk from Asok BTS and quiet enough for good sleep. reception is open 24 hrs and 2 guard make it a safe place. unlike other places, they wont bother u with silly ID checks, in case u bring a guest. the room has all, what is needed, kingsizebed is comfortable and clean, bathroom ok. i will come back!

by Michael from Stowee,United Kingdom
for staying in Sukhumvit - near everything and all the action but quiet and friendly staff and excellent rooms. One even gets use to the sparten breakfast!
Good Location
Location is convenience, short walk to supermarket, Sky Train, massage, restaurant……., easy to catch Taxi.
Some staffs were very helpful.
The Guard at the Gate always wearing a happy smile. :D
As its a service apartment, but no kitchen utensil provided. When I asked for a futile knife, the answer is "We don´t have knife." :(
Many mosquitos in the hotel.
Excellent Value
by Michael Bromfield from United Kingdom
Great location, nice rooms and awful breakfast but you have a kitchenette so buy some milk, juice , cerwal and you are all set!
Good location ... close to BTS..... no noise
Within the walking distance to BTS. Very convenient. The room has the safety box but require to learn how to use it... you should ask it from the receptionist. The breakfast is too simple and probably you would find other place to take in second day. No slipper provided. The key is not the electronic type.
Good location ... close to BTS
Close to BTS .. within the walking distance. The comfortable bedroom and slient outside
Use the "key" to open the door so that the security is concern but have the safety box inside the room to lock up the important things. The breakfast is too simple (e.g. butter with beard). Remind to bring slipper
Clean, comfortable, great location, great value
by Neil Collette from South Carolina, United States
For the money I don´t think you will do better than Chatra Court. The staff was very polite and the area seemed very safe. The hotel has a gate and there was a security person there 24 hours per day. Check in with my printed voucher was fast and painless. The location is excellent...close to Sukhumvit and between the Asoke and Nana skytrain stations. There is a little walk to Sukhumvit but if you don´t like walking I would say don´t go to Bangkok. The room is comparable to a Comfort Inn in the USA. The standard room has a kitchenette and seating area. Wireless internet was available for 100 Baht per day. Breakfast could be better but for this price I won´t complain. There was coffee, juice, toast, one fruit, and rice with pork. If you want eggs or something extra there is an additional charge. The gym wasn´t much - if you are looking for an aerobic workout it is fine as there are a few machines, but for weights there was only an all-in-one machine and it isn´t very good. The pool - not terribly inviting but still ok. Taxis are abundant and cheap in front of the hotel. Most locals are not familiar with Chatra Court so I suggest you print out the map to show your taxi driver. Hotels2thailand smartly makes this map available in English and Thai so print it and keep it with you. I will stay at this hotel again.
Good but not great
Stayed in January 2007. Location is quite good, although it is good five minute walk to Sukhumwit, a bit further than I expected, and another couple of minutes after that to the BTS, a bit further still to the MRT. Quite manageable, though.
The room was good, spacious and clean. The in-room safe worked well, the TV was large, but the promised CNN turned out to be CNBC, which is NOT the same thing. No other news channels.
The main fault was the "included" American breakfast, which consisted of coffee, juice and toast. Anything "extra" like eggs or bacon had to be paid for separately. There was also boiled chicken rice, but I´m not sure that that falls under the description "American".
Will appeal to the same crowd as the Manahattan, which is around the corner. Chatra Court has better rooms and in-rooms safes, but the location and the breakfast count against it.

Quite satisfied with the room as my whole family can stay in the suite.
As this is not a hotel, can´t expect much for the breakfast. Overall happy with my stay at Chatra Court.

Why pay more when you can have comfort and cleanliness for less? Helpful staff. Good security. A short walk from food, shopping and entertainment. The Asok BTS is mins away. I will definately stay again.
Not too bad for Money
by Grant RICHARDSON from Perth, Western Australia
Quiet, good value for money and close to SkyTrain and Subway stations.
Excellent location in Sukhumvit area
More like a condo than a hotel. Feels private and secluded but a short walk from Sukhumvit and Nana BTS. On a quiet soi but with plenty of taxis if needed. Convenient for food and night life but feels like a retreat compared to conventional hotels. I was once upgraded to a 1-bedroom apartment at no extra charge. Breakfast is simple (coffee, fresh juice, and toast) but sufficient--more can be ordered at extra cost. Very friendly reception staff. Far better than the nerby Manhattan or Ambassador in the same price range (ask for their 10% discount, reserve by email, and pay cash on arrival to avoid the credit card surcharge). Highly recommended.

good plays for gays and lonely men who come to bangkok for sex
by shlomo kim from Jerusalem, Israel
we are a couple so it wasn´t nice to see everyday euoropean men come there with thai lady. i think for the family better to take a hotel. the breakfast was afwull!! rooms are very old one and in the evening no english speaker person in the reception. i am not trying to judge someone but this place for people that have to hide something, not for a family. asia hotel in bangkok is very good one (stayed in the past). but, i have to say that the service of hotels2thailand was perfect!!!
