Good location
by Liiew Ann from Malasia
Hotel near Shopping Center.Rooms are clean, though a bit small. I love hotel and I will come back again on next trip.
Good location
I like this hotel because it's close to shopping center.
Excellent access to Pratunam market and tons of food
Near to the night market
by Lay Chee Loong from Singapore
Not much taxi know about the place but all you need to do is just that is near to Baiyoke Sky....
Excellent location
Like: the location that is in the city area, there are lots of eatery downstairs
Dislike: alot of taxi driver don't know the way to the hotel, so it is best to bring along the hotel telephone number
comfortable for staying but not strategic location.
by SEOW HAN LOON from Malaysia
it is difficult to find the actual hotel location as information given from the map are not details. Also, it was far from the BTS/sky train station which is not convenient for tourists.
Good location & close to shopping area
by Jeffrey Tan from Singapore
hide in the small road at Pratunum area. Had trouble telling the taxi driver exact location even from the airport!!! U hv to tell them to go Baiyoke sky & direct them from there!!! Room decor were modern & cosy. Only complaint is the water shower temperature!!! No matter how u adjust, it just get from v cold to v hot & vice vesa!!! It happened to all the 4 rooms i booked! Forget about the vegetarian breakfast, u can get plenty of nice hawker food just right outside the doorstep! Will stay there agn if they get the water heater fixed!
Great hotel, shame about baby cots.
I have stayed quite a few times at Citin because of its convenient for shopping location, but this time we came with our 1 year old son, and the baby cot which was given to us was the worst I have ever seen or been given in hotels - the smallest, tiniest thing ever, my baby couldn't fit in it, plus it was making horrible squeaky noise, so we had no choice but to put the baby sleep between us, had not much sleep ourselves. Those cots are only suitable for babies up to 6 months maximum, they should replace them for decent travelcots. And we also got really small room this time. Otherwise everything was ok, free WI-FI, good service, good breakfast, no other complaints.
very good location who want to see local markets or shopping area at walking and a great and cheapest INDIAN VEG Food
by NAVEEN KUMAR BANSAL from India

by MR ANTHONY HARRISON from United Kingdom
No dislikes.
I would most certainly stay here again.
This hotel is probably the best value for money hotel in Bangkok.
Good room condition, location not really convinient
by CHOO MUN HOE from Malaysia
The hotel is very great, no matter the environment, the room condition, free wi-fi internet service (in room), that's no way to complain further with such the good value. The only matter is the location of the hotel. If you are by walking or by tok tok, it seems ok for it, but when you need a taxi, car or van, it's pretty difficult for the driver to drive in to the front door of the hotel since the road there is too narrow and there's a lot of stall hawkers setting up their stalls at the road side. If you're light traveler by visiting Pratunam by your foot, I can say that Citin is the best hotel for you.
dee mak mak!
the hotel herself together with her location is much better than we initially expected. near to well-known hotels (walking) such as baiyoke, white palace, indra etc as well as shopping centres like platinum and street markets, thus access to food is not a problem at all. the breakfast provided by the hotel is yummy vegetarian, good for those who opts for healthy lifestyle. down the streets, one can easily flag for taxis or their famous tuks-tiks. going to any tourist spots is not a problem at all. definitely my 1st choice when i visit bangkok again.
some parts good , some parts bad
by Liao Chih Cheng from Taiwan
I like the location of the hotel , we can go anywhere easily, but some parts are a little inconvenience, if I wanna take a taxi go home, some taxi they don't like go there because the roads near the hotel are usually crowded.
value for money & good location for shopping
by MARIA MARGARITA ZAPATA CORPUZ from Muntinlupa City, Phillippines
food in the restaurant is not good. we don't like spicy food and same meals every breakfast with their buffet breakfast table.
good location for shopping
by wootang from United States
This hotel is in a great location. If you like to shop and eat street food it's the place to be. Shopping is just 1 block outside your door and there is street food found all day just outside the hotel.
The hotel is a great place for couples. If your a single guy looking for night life, This place is a bit far from the red light district. You will find leaving and retuning to this area between 10 am and 6 pm can be a problem. Taxi drivers will not want to go, based on the trafic jams in and around this area. You will have to ask several taxi drivers before you will get a yes. Example, we went to chinatown during the day and it took almost 2 hrs to get back to the hotel. But shopping in this area is the best.
The rooms are nice and clean. get the king size bed ( very nice )
Bath room has a nice shower.
There were only 2 things wrong with this hotel.
1 - The breakfast was not good. no beacon and eggs , French
toast and what they did serve like rice and veggies were cold.
2 - when we check in the lady at the desk was nice to start and check us into the room. You see I had stayed here before and noticed the room I got was not the same. She had given us a basic room. It was much smaller and had a view of a brick wall.
The room booked on this web site is much bigger and has a table and chairs to sit on. I called down to the front desk and ask about it, she said t me that I requested a king bed and this was the only one open and that she would move me the next day. I told her this room was smaller and that I wanted to be moved to a bigger room that we had paid for. She said sorry that they did not have one.I hung up very upset and let myself calm down a bit. an hr latter I went down to the lobby to talk to the manager. He was not there at the time but the man behind the desk took a look at my reservation and ask me what room i had stayed in the last time. He Then told me he would move me to a room just like that one. ( So how did this room out of no where become open ? ) I told him to look at my reservation to see the type of room i had booked and at that time he realized a mistake had been made by the other co worker. What really got me upset was there was no mention of a sorry or let me give you a meal on us. I asked him how this had happened and he went back to the king bed reason ? All he was doing was trying to save face of his co worker and cover her tracks. BE VERY CAREFULL - MAKE SURE YOU GET THE ROOM YOU PAID FOR. This is a clear cut case of bait and switch. When we checked out we also had to take our own bags down to the lobby. we called down the same lady was very rude and said it would be awhile, but I had a plane to catch and had to go asap.
This hotel is one of the better hotels in Bangkok for the price.
Why ? They cut back on customer service and the breakfast.
Good customer service in this hotel will depend on who helps you. I hope you get someone that is good and cares.
good location for shopping / traffic is bad in this area
by wootang from United States
This is a great hotel to stay at if you like to go shopping. There are 3 types of rooms. standred room, superior room, suite. The service is good and bad, it well depend on who you get. we have stayed ther 2 times on this trip. The first time we checked in,I had to waite 1 hr to get my room. The room was clean and good size ( superior room )with a flat screan tv monted on the wall. The 2nd time we checked in they gave us the wrong room. They took us to a standred room with a view of a brick wall.I called the front desk and asked why this room was so small with no chairs or a table. The lady who checked us in said that we wanted a king size bed and none were avilable.I was very angry at this point and went down to the front desk. a man help us and ask for my name, he checked and saw his co worker had put me in a standerd room. He checked to see what room we had stayed in last time and put us in that room. I asked him why this had happened and he went back to the king size bed thing ( he was trying to cover for his co workers mistake.)even after all this, they would not fess up to the mistake of the baite and switch they tried to pull on me. A little tip to all customers looking for middle price hotels in Thailand, make sure you are getting the room that you payed for.I'm still upset they did not treat me with respect and say sorry. I have stayed at many hotels in Thailand with much better service.
Lousy Breakfast but Overall Wonderful Place
by aBang pekJaL from cocky xinchapor
We stayed at this wonderfully clean and new hotel for 6D5N and really wished we could have stayed longer, why?
The room was splendid and magnificent, compared to the one which i stayed before...
You must truly understand that although they have a fair command of understanding English, doesn't mean they fully understand what you say...
You speak to them like really Hardcore English which is normal to you, but NO, they'll look lost...
I had a hard time explaining to the front desk that i can't make an overseas call...
They will think that we're dumb and don't understand what they are trying to convey to us... Idiots.
So, speak very SIMPLE english ladies and gentlemens!
They MUST/CONFIRM do SOMETHING and REALLY improve on their breakfast as it's for vegans. Veggi people would crave for this hotel..
We did not go for the breakfast and the coupons goes to waste... any refund citin pratunam bangkok?
But there is a Family Mart which's just beside the hotel, serves as a 7-11 so snacks+drinks are not a hassle...
So their only weak point, BREAKFAST SUCKS.
Bloody convenient place to go around, there are plenty of side hawkers...
Like the previous reviews, walking distance to major shopping bargain-ic places like indra, pratunam, big C, baiyoke etc etc..
Taking a tuk-tuk there was a thrill, but bargain a MUST...
Dont let this people cheat you, this buggers, some of them are ok...
Tuk tuk fairly better than metered cabs as they really bend the traffic laws a little and try to get you to your destination asap but safely, as they are smaller, squeezing all the way through... WooHoo...!
A really wonderful place for couples who are on holidays i might add...
Definitely i will come and stay here again on my next visit to Bangkok!!
Adios...

Value for $$$
by ila Saraman from Singapore
We highly recommend the Citin Pratunum in Bangkok. It is a very reasonable priced, modern, clean hotel with good service and well organised rooms. Location wise - it is very convenient and accessible as the hotel is just very near to baiyoke sky hotel, walking distance from pratunam center, baiyoke garment market, platinum, big c and all shopping places. Outside the hotels are those little shops selling everything you need- family mart. This is my second stay there will be be back again.
New, clean and convenient location hotel
It is situated at the heart of Watergate area and a lot of food stalls and shops around. Although the free breakfast is so so but the staff service, room condition is very good. Free internet was provided at lobby.
Reminding all that - Don't take the Tuk-tuk waiting outside. When we left for a distance,he suggested to take you to the jewellery shop first. I gave the tuker a bollick and jumped away. In fact, the Hotel provide free tuk-tuk for nearby main road junctions or shopping centre.
Kind of froots are a little. Hav't watermelon and pineapple.

Clean room, near to pratunam market, walking distance to most shopping areas in pratunam. Lots of taxis & tuk tuks. Value for money hotel.
The best hotel we have stayed at in Bangkok
by Nigel hervey from Perth, Australia
We have been to Bangkok many times now and have never really liked any of the hotels that we have stayed at until now. The hotel is very clean and looks very nice. The friendly housekeeping staff keep the rooms spotless. The front desk and door staff always greet you with a smile and go out of there way to help you. The hotel also has its own tuk tuk for hotel guests free of charge.
The hotel is down a small soi (street) but still very close to all your street shopping needs. It is not to far away (easy walking distance) from the world centre and the sky train.
I can't think of a single thing that we disliked about this hotel and we will be staying here again next time we come to bangkok.
Good Location and for shopping
by Davi Komaran from Singapore
My family and i stayed at Citin from Dec 14 to Dec 18. We never enjoyed ourself this much, good location, plenty of shopping, friendly staff and most of all very accomondating, never seen this in any other hotels that i have stay before e.g. Indra Regent, Eastin,DMA or even Novotel.... we had asked for a late check out, and was told to pay a cost for the late check out, but when we check out about 3.30 pm we were not charged, Citin showed its flexibility for its guest and have notice even accept early check-in. This felexiblity make one very comfortable, and welcoming, beside being flexible the free tut tut service is a plus point, the hotel is able to sent us around the vicinity for free (we tip the staff, cause we are happy to) Cost of tut tut is not expensive but the free service is very welcoming. :)).
Food wise ... since its vegetarian everyone can enjoy... but we do miss the occational egg, bacon etc., we also feel very safe to walk around even late night and early morning.
Security staff is also very helpful...they are like porter/security/pr all roll into one.
The staff will go out of their way to help us i.e. to get tut tut/taxis and also arrange to negotiate for a good price.
Which hotel does that...except Citin.
We will definately stay in Citin for our next vist to Bangkok.
Keep it up CITIN you are wonderful.
Excellent hotel in Bangkok
by STELLA WONG from Singapore
Hi all,
Their staff are very friendly and polite. Their room is big and spacious, have big screen tv, fridge, nice wardrobe, safety box and nice washroom. Most importantly, it is very clean. Feel fresh when I enter the hotel as the decoration combinations is good. They have free internet access. Location wise is good but have to guide the cab drivers as most of them do not know this brand new hotel. Room facilites is good. Food wise, need to be improved, not much varieties. Should set up another infomation counter at the second hotel and provide land or day tours service. Though they provide free tuk tuk service to nearby places, we still give them tips. Their helpfulness is making you feeling so comfortable. I will definitely stay in this hotel again for my next visit to Bangkok. Overall rating is excellent.
Feels better than Home
Hi!
We really had a great time at Citin Pratunam from 06-09Nov'08. The hotel is very very new, very clean, spotless. The moment you enter into the lobby, you can smell the fragrance of a new building. They have a very cozy lobby and waiting lounge, nice elevator with 7 floors. Our room is at the 3rd floor with king size bed, a very beautiful toilet, a safe, new lcd tv, new cabinets. Staffs are very polite, very hospitable. Hotel Management is so sweet that they even send me a Birthday Card in my room and a cute little cake while having our first breakfast. By the way, they are serving only vegetarian breakfast. Actually they can improve a lot on this side as there is nothing special on their menu. I missed those fried eggs, the bacon and other pastries. Location wise - it is very convenient and accessible as the hotel is just very near to baiyoke sky hotel, walking distance from pratunam center, baiyoke garment market, platinum, big c and all shopping places. Outside the hotels are those little shops selling everything you'll need. They also have a complimentary tuktuk going to platinum, big c and nearest mrt station that makes us feel very important. Overall, we are very pleased with Citin Pratunam. We really enjoyed our stay there and definitely choose this hotel on our next Bangkok Trip next year.
Excellent Staff and Services
Hello,I am from Denmark,at first when I decided to make a booking at this HOtel,my friends and me were very doubtful if we made a correct decision, many of the friends in our group never heard of the name and the place where it located but after we seen from the website we decided to go for it.For a new experience.Once we have reached the hotel and got to see the real of it.We realized that we have made a correct decision as the rooms are excellent,i give 5 stars, the cleanliness are superb and above all the staff, they are really great...especially the one who responsible for our booking, shes marvellous....I would go back to this hotel everytimes i come to bangkok.
