I book the hotel for three days included BKFT. But I have been asked to pay for our BKFT at the first day. When we finished the BKFT, the old lady in restaurant told us that we re order too much (1st & 2nd Person: hot tea, toast, boiled sofe rice; 3rd person:hot tea, toast, corn flake)and have to pay the two boiled sofe rice & the corn flake. When the free BKFT included juice & tea/coffee, two egg, ham/bacon & toast w/jam or butter. We felt very upset but no way to complain.
Moreover, the porter showed us the room, said the water is free. He showed the water on the table and the iced water in refrigerator. But when we checked out, we got to know the iced water is no free. The reception said only the water on the table w/ hotel logo is free, the iced water in a similar look without the hotel logo need to pay. We really felt bad and told the fact to the reception lady, but the lady didn't listen, she only repeat that the water was used, you got to pay.

The staff were excellent and would definitely stay there again.

More like than dislike - the hotel & restaurant staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee house/restaurant opens 24-hour. Nice location to watch people, the thais & the "farang" along Soi 11. Most of the time when we going back to the hotel, the taxi-drivers seem to know where the hotel. This is my 2nd stay (with friends) after the renovation. Next Bangkok visit I'll definitely stay at GBI Hotel, and will recommend to friends!

Near Nana Station, 1 Minute

I have stayed at this Hotel for three times, mainly for its location (just a stone's throw from Nana station). The rooms are just average, and will do much better with some renovation. The breakfast is good, but by the fourth day, we craved for something different. I would say, by all means, stay there. But if your budget is a little more generous, I would recommend staying somewhere else.

the bed was very hard for me , however others may like that. the rooms views ( best to keep the curtains closed) the rooms were very clean.

Good location especially is near the BTS Station and this place is always lively with night markets. Grand Business Inn is a pleasant hotel and have a good sense of security. Serve good food in their 24 hrs cafe. I will continue to stay in this hotel if the price is still resonable. Lastly, the staffs in this hotel are alright. So far I am satisfied with thier service. Keep it up.

NO SAFETY BOX IN ROOM

It is a good location.

Only thing don't like that the mastress that cover with something that make it slipery to sleep on.

1. Great location, steps away from BTS Nana station. walk distance to massage places, bars, easy to find late night street food, next to a 7-11, money exchange, and a supermarket near by, shopping area near by.
2. Book through hotels2thailand website, a cheaper rate with breakfast, good deal. Breakfast menu is American style or oriental flavor porridge, not like fancy 5* hotel's all you can eat style.
3. Must try set dinner! We spent too much time on local street food, forgot the restaurnt by the lobby actually open 24 hours and privide a great seletion of Thai food and Western food. One night we came back from a package tour, was late and tired, so we decided to go to the Kinaree Restaurant downstairs, the set dinner menu has 4 options, we get 2 different sets. It came with a platter of rice, appitaizer, vegitable, Thai style stir fry and soup or curry. Good portion, and we were both full and very satisfied. No 10% extra service charge. If you go to a restaurant, you can't find this good deal. I strongly recommend this Kinaree Restaurant. We also saw many guests who didn't stay at this hotel eat in.
4. Good staff. Every day when we came in the lobby to get our key, the staff always have our key ready, we didn't have to tell them our room number. They also have a safety box for guest to use. Free internet at lobby, but there are only 2 computers. They have airport service, 400B to airport, includ toll fee.

I personally wasn't happy to see massage girls (or you may call them joiners in a polite way)come in the hotel, but, it's Bangkok. Since the hotel is near Nana Plaza, do expect to see this scene. The hotel only accept visitors when they leave their IDs at the front desk.

Good location, helpful staff. Seven-Eleven is the next door. Breakfast is available till 11am.
Internet is available and the speed was acceptable... around 1.5Mbps but you better bring LAN cable. Bath tab is easy to leak the water from shower. A ventilator does not exist in the bath room. But overall I think good hotel considering the price and would be there again.

I like this Hotel- was there 4 times and come back.

Everyone is very helpful and friendly. The room is quite big, and I recommend this hotel. Unless you´re a knuckle head, you won´t be disappointed. Very save!

Good hotel near Nana SkyTrain-station (less than 2 minutes walk). Has a guite good restaurant and free 30 min internet access for customers. My room was spacious with good bed. Silent at night. I was there 2 nights in june -08

Hotel service is good and environment is clean. But I wonder why the coffee cup is provided in the room but no tea or coffee bag provided. And not much food at nearer area. But it is a convenient place to go everywhere.

a lot of noisy people were in the corridors during the night.

They don´t ask any questions about the ´friends´ your back and always phone you after to make sure everything is OK before they let the girls leave. I like service like that!

The place was very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful. 24 hour restaurant (good food) was a bonus I didn´t expect. I went back to the same place at the start and the end of a month off trip to Malaysia. I would go back again!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I have stayed at lots of properties in Bangkok and I can honestly say this is the best value I have seen.
Almost didnt want to do this review as I dont want the place tp be booked out next time I am looking to stay there.

If you are looking for a nice spacious clean room close to the BTS and Sukhumvit area, this is a good hotel - particularly if you just want to sleep there. If you want to hang out at the hotel, then you´ll want to choose a different one. No pool, and all the rooms look into concrete. You really need to keep the curtains closed. Fortunately though, the rooms are nicely decorated and designed, with very comfy beds.

I´ve stayed at the Grand Business Inn a half dozen times now, while there is nothing particularly special about the place the location and convenience of the 24 hour coffee shop keep me coming back.

Very good food from the hotel restaurant and nice location for shopping and night life and the MRT station is very close. for the price, this hotel is excellent.

Kind staff, clean and friendly, good service, well speaking English staff.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned as soon as you dropped the key off at front desk when you went out in the morning. Location is excellent right around the corner from Skytrain. Rooms are nice. Our room had a King and twin bed in it and had plenty of room. Only drawback is no DVD player in regular rooms. They are in the other room categories and should be added to the regular rooms, especially in this day and age.

It is close to the nana BTS (just outside) & close to roadside shopping, restaurant & other amenities. Convenient place. Service is good at the hotel. However, the bed is a little uncomfortable.

Ideal location, really friendly staff and very good food and free internet in the foyer. It´s bright, modern, clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. Previously, I´ve stayed in more established hotels nearby which are in a similar price range, but Grand Business Inn puts them to shame. Highly recommended if you are looking to keep below US$50 per night.

The hotel should provide tissue in the room even add some thai baht on the room rate.

Hotel location is good, near to BTS station, shops, eateries/ pub among others. Nightlife´s lively more things to see and more choices to choose.

The hotel was secure with cameras and everything. However, it did not have a "homey" feeling... no carpeting in the halls. Access to the internet in the lobby was nice.

I checked the reviews prior to making a booking and I agree with what most customers said. The hotel has also made some changes based on some recommendations by customers (like on having breakfast options). Very good location and value for money accommodations. Will definitely come back next time.

I need tissue paper in room.

Shower water flows out through the curb of bathtub even if shower curtain is closed. And the overflow water never go to the drain.
It has a structural defect´s probrem.
So did another room.

Matress of the bed quite a bit too hard.

the rooms looks so nice and well arranged. but in front of my window in 3rd floor i had some men doing construction with a hammer. so first i closed curtains, second closed ears...absolutely unacceptable!
noise stopped at nighttime, but the unusual hard bed interrupted my sleep meanwhile.
so, please stop constructions, change the bed, and this place is perfect.

Good location, 3 mins walk to BTS, clean rooms, service of staff friendly and safe (with security guard at lobby at night).

Mattress is not comfortable. Room is a little sparse. However, got upgraded to suite upon checkin. Staff is friendly.

I would definitely use this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Great location just a few steps to sky train

The hotel room is very spacious but the aircon doesn´t seem to work well, sometimes will need to on the fan. The mattress is also very hard. The Thai massage located above the hotel recept is excellent. Breakfast variety is not a lot but fine with us. The swimming pool is very small though. Overall, would still rate the hotel good for its price.

Near to BTS, just 3min to Nana Station, very convenient to Siam Paragon, Siam Center, MBK, JJ Weekend Market, Interchange to Suan Lum Night Bazaar for shopping and shopping. Will come back again.

Stayed at many hotels before and the staff service are simply magnificient. A good budget,value for money hotel and of course the best stuff is the no joiner fees. Especially for a happy hour guy like me! Well Done.

It´s excellent value for money at a promotional rate of 1500Baht for a duble room. Staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The last time I reviewed this hotel, it was mentioned that the restuarant did not allow a change of American breakfast to a local breakfast even though it was of a lower value. This time when I made the request at the reception, the staff arranged with the restaurant for the change.
Only a slight problem on this trip is the room I stayed. There was some construction going on the next block and the curtain had to be drawn all the time to ensure privacy. I will continue to stay at this hotel for my future trips.

The location is excellent and the staff are great. The only setback is the American breakfast that came with the hotel. The value is about 100Baht but when I was not given the option to choose Thai food even the price is less than the American breakfast. It would be great if guests are given the option of choosing either American or Thai food of similar value or cheaper.

The hotle is situated in a good location close to the skytrain and main Sukumvit road.It´s real let down at the moment is the building works right next door. Stayed here for 2 days constant sledghammering from 8-12 and again in the afternoon. Rooms are large. When the demolition is finished next door the hotel will be good value.

lack of swimming pool

I stayed at Grand Business Inn from 7th - 10th Jan 2006, with the rate I paid (1380THB) I should have serve with a better breakfast. Beside this, for some reason everytime after shower, the toilet floor is so wet even you use shower curtain. There´s a lot of other hotels about the same the rate that provide more facilities, but what I am looking for is a clean room at superb location. Yup, Grand Business Inn does gave me what I am expected.
