This will sum things up for you

Nothing fancy but well done for the money they are asking. Room was clean people were nice. Close to the Eakmia bus station...but not too close.
Excellent staff, adequate room for the money
by Katherine from Woking, United Kingdom
The aircon didn't work in my room but the staff made up for this, they were so friendly, and very helpful when it came to getting a taxi. slightly out of the way but such cheap transport and not too far from the centre out of rush hours.
All good except BAD reception manager
by Daff & Iv from Singapore
upon arrival we were really upset with the bad attitude of the reception manager!
we only had 1000THB & the taxi driver didnt have sufficient change, so our only solution was the hotel recept & we got a really nasty shot-back (in the typical gentle thai way) "no change. we dont have" that is not being helpful at all! what am i supposed to do?
after some negotiation & smiley face from our end she finally got her staff to change it for us, with no smile, nothing! i dont expect much but i dont expect to be treated with little respect especially when im being really polite.
next to us was a couple from Netherland & they booked their room online (that very morning) & the reception manager couldnt find their name & was really rude! questioning them to why didnt they print the slip.
i was really upset & frustrated with this poor quality of service.
however, i must give CREDIT to this BELL-BOY. he is EXCELLENT! we loved his service & i would honestly say that he saved the hotel from really nasty rating i would have given. he was exceptionally helpful & made-up all the negative experiences we had with that bad-mannered manager!
when we needed a cab, he went all the way out to the main road to get one for us because the location of the hotel is really far in (end of the lane) & he is always so smilely!
he made it good for us! thanks me bell boy!
good location (near to Ekamai)
by Wilhelmus Diele from Thailand
We did book a "luxury" room, but there was not any luxery
Not bad for the money
by Michael Robie from Phuket, Thailand
You´ll get a workout climbing the stairs because they don´t have an elevator. Very nice staff with small, clean rooms. The place is showing its age so don´t expect anything modern. Good water pressure in the shower and a well-stocked and cold fridge.
Great budget hotel
by Nigel Bragg from Pretoria, South Africa
The hotel is excellent value for money for the budget traveller, and offers everything you need such as a restaurant with bar facility and fast internet. Bathrooms are not that great (need to seperate shower and toilet), but the bed is comfortable and the TV has international channels. A mini bar is also available which is rare in budget hotels usually, plus the laundry service is cheap and efficient. Location is ideal for those who love Japanese and Korean food

Not too shabby
Like the place. Could have used an elevator. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The towels smelled bad. Breakfast was a bit limited. Kind of far from the places we wanted to see in Bangkok, but conveniently near a skytrain station. Great restaurant nearby: Ana´s Garden.
Great rooms

Towels
by Toh Wei Liang from Singapore
The towels could be changed, cleaned even if not used.
As received in not a good condition, should there be stain already on the towels, should be thrown away.
Good price, Good location
by Stella Walker from Amsterdam, Netherlands
The hotel was as to be expected for the price, It was clean and well located.
The reception staff were helpful with onward journey preperations and directions. They translated addresses into Thai for us and helped to plan our best route.
We felt it was safe enough to leave our bags for awhile, so all in all can´t grumble!
Good location, good service.
overall i think this place value for money.

A beautiful Inn in Bangkok
by Weng Jiun, Ng from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
This Inn is a really a nice place to stay in during hollidays. Although the surrounding is a little lacking in beautiful scenaries, its strategic location does makes up to it. It´s only 5 mins to the Thong Lor Sky Train Station by foot.
Soi 57 which leads to the Inn is a little doggy especially at night. However, there is a shortcut leading to Soi 55, a busy street, which is considered safe to walk back to the Inn from sky train station even at night.
The staffs are really nice. The guy in charge of the cafeteria is especially friendly to all guests. A staff even went to Soi 55 to hail a taxi for us! Couldn´t say enough about their good service. :)
good location for is price

Really good value for the money you pay
The hotel is well located in a lane along sukhumvit road. You have to walk about 300 m to get to Sukhumvit road and then you can get on the skytrain there which can bring you to the whole shopping area. One skytrain stop back will bring you to the Ekkamai bus terminal (goes to Pattaya too). A few stops further will bring you to Siam (lots of shopping malls there). I always want a room which is not too luxurious, but clean, safe, presentable. Well this room does just that. Don´t expect too much, but this is a very good place for the price you pay. Oh and take the superior room. It is well worth the price difference with the standard room. I will sure book a room in this hotel again when I am back in Bangkok.
Excellent location with supreb food
i can accept quality upon this price.
Value for money
by OOI Kok Hooi from Malaysia
Can´t complain much considering the price. The lane leading towards the hotel is a bit dark though if you are walking back at night.
Homely place in Bangkok
by Huey from Kuala Lumpur
This hotel is pretty cool. Though it´s small but the rooms are clean. The soi leading to the hotel is a bit too quiet especially at night. However the short cut to soi 55 next to the soi leading to the hotel is quite busy even late at night, so it is still quite safe to walk back from the sky train to the hotel. The staff working at the hotel are helpful and friendly, especially the waiter at the cafeteria. :)
Good hotel

This hotel is OK because the price is so cheap.

Next to Skytrain and nice people
by Sven Konietzko from Berlin, Germany
english: The favorable distance to the Skytrain (thong lo-Station only 5 minutes by foot) and the Eastern bus terminal (10 minutes by foot) make this hotel a good starting point for excursions to Bangkok and into the east of Thailand. The rooms are accordingly and above all to the price, the nice personnel are to be mentioned, very nice people. Unfortunately we were kept awake two nights by very loud other guests.
Good value for money
by Noor Merchant from Seattle USA
For $17/night, I really cannot complain about the hotel. Room was clean, bathroom was ok and they provided clean towels and sheets everyday. The only gripe I have is that it does not have an elevator and my room was on the 4th floor. It was a pain going up the stairs. Ask for a room on the 1st or second floor only
Nice staff
I´ve been staying there three times in 2005. Cheap and good hotel in a quiet soi only 2 minutes walkingdistance to skytrain. Nice, friendly staff. The rooms could need some new paint.
