Location is OK but hotel is a bit old and needs to be refurnished to be 3 stars hotel as claimed.

A very good location and price is good.
You see the skytrain (BTS)from the hotelwindow.
Soi 8 has some nice restaurants and bars.
Breakfast was OK with 5 different thai dishes, toast, marmelades, eggs, coffee, tea, fruitjuice.

we came to hotel 9 august 2010.And we stay a few days. Ita was very nice hotel with friendly staff, if i go to bangkok agin i gone to check in on that hotel again....

You are paying just for the location. BTS and nightlife within walking distance.

Did not like the shower as it was difficult to take a bath holding the hand shower in one hand. Otherwise, good value for the money paid.

Stayed here for three nights. Good location but hotel looked and felt worn. Breakfast wasn´t very good. Standard style rooms don´t look like those in the pictures. Fast WiFi. Had just come from Phuket where the hotel I stayed in was much nicer and cheaper.

Best Budget Hotel in all of Asia

I stayed at the Crown Hotel between 1993 until 2004 for a total of 150 days. It is the most reasonable and by far the cleanest budget hotel in Thailand. The staff, especially the lady manager and the tall Thai guy around 35, is exceptional. The lady helped me get an immediate flight home to the USA in 1998 when my father died. (She spent an hour on the phone helping me get a quick flight home.) The large bed was comfortable and there was a 5 gallon bottled water container always full on each floor. I always stayed in the economy room, which was exceptionally clean. The rooms are basic but do have a stocked refrigerator. I have the room man remove the contents and I stock it myself with cheaper store brought water and fruit. The hotel is real quiet. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel to any budget traveler. P.S. Of course, it is lady friendly.

I liked the location and the room which was clean and comfortable.The only problem was, that I booked traintickets which have been sent to the hotel but when I asked for them I had to wait half an hour because they couldn`t find them at the reception.

i like the location one thing that i dislike abt the guest identity ,they not bother abt the identity abt visitors.
