Viengtai Hotel Bangkok Reviews

It looks like the hotel used to be a great hotel since it's a big hotel with nice lobby and dinning room but the hotel rooms are very old with not a good smell. Though, the reception staff were very nice and when asked to change the room from front to back they were very cooperative

we booked a deluxe room, and the room was just ok and could have been better for the price paid. Breakfast was good

very helpful staff in organising tours etc..

After the day of world cup match in `06, with huge hangover I had to seek decent place to have good rest instead of at my first guesthouse in thailand which has no window but A/C & gloomy fluorescent light with outside toilet/shower.(very high seat & extreamly squashed, watching used-water running thru from shower chamber)

I went in this hotel, the room rate was like 2700Bahts for pop-in resident. I accept the price for twin bed room.
a view from the window was nice local alley.
decent hotel type of 3-piece bathroom was cheered me up.
didn´t use swimming pool so can´t tell how nice it is.
breakfast buffet was ok.
compare to other khaosan rooms without window still cost you 300-600bahts, it maybe worth to stay here on internet price.

The Aircon. in the diningroom is nearly too cool.
