Designed by a well known Thai golf course architect, Mr. Seni Thirawat, the course features rolling zoysia grass fairways and large challenging Korea Velvet greens with beautiful views of Doi Suthep and other surrounding mountain ranges. With thousands of matured Longan, Lychee, Mango, Pomello, and Tangerine trees alongside its fairways, the golf course looks and plays more like a well-matured course rather than a newly constructed one.

The course also features several elevated tees not only to allow golfers to enjoy the panoramic views of the course, the fruit orchard and the surrounding mountain ranges but also to make plays on the holes more interesting and challenging. From the yellow tees, low handicappers will play the course 6,537 yards long while higher handicappers can play from white tees with the course being 6,199 yards long. Ladies or senior golfers may play the course at 5,511 yards from the red tees.

i played ther on New Yeasr Holiday not much golfer. This course there used to be a fruit farm, some course you must cross orange farm and along the fairway have Longan, Lychee and Mango Tree too. This course really good fairway & green. I love this course because i got hole in one on 17th Hole and caddy recommend to no.129 very helpful.

Total lack of management. Club house food and service is zero. Nice course, but slow greens ... If there is no improvment soon in the management, this will end up as green-valley Chiangmai : a total disaster.

I played here early May, the course was deserted (too hot). Very nice lay-out although the greens weren't very good. I played 7 courses around Chiang mai but this was the only course I played twice. Despite only open since a couple of months, definitely worth plaing.

This is a forgiving course. It is well maintained and pleasant to play on with plenty of citrus fruit for you to pick up for yr caddy to peal for you. The price is reasonable too and it's only a short hop from the city. Well worth a visit if you are in Chiangmai.

This course is worth a visit. Just a few good caddies, but a beautiful and challenging course. It's still playable for a beginner, but provides lots of challenges for the experienced golfer. Probably the best value for the money in Chiang Mai.

played the course on nov 28. Course still new so needs bit more time to mature but setting is nice i.e amidst fruit orchards. Maybe thats why caddies kept feeding us oranges. Yummy! Course has quite a bit of water hazard but is not a difficult course. Condition wise - good except i think they overwatered the fairways and tee boxes. One of the better courses in CM.

Played on November 15th / 17th / 18th always as the first flight in the early morning. Fairways are much too wet; because the "green-keeper's" are not able to find the correct amount of watering. Regarding to the doglegs and the OB, the course is a challenge. Will come back! Siggi (Handicap 12)

Mae Jo is One of the most beautiful golf courses I've ever played. The design is very interesting. Vey few holes have straight fairways. Lots of doglegs, even some "S" shaped fairways! Perfect fairway and green conditions. Stunning scenery. Hole No. 5 looks as if it were a part of Augusta National! Worth the 1,600 baht green fee. My caddie was excellent. Very helpful and well-mannered. I have only good memories about this course and will definitely come back to play again and again. I didn't get to pick or eat any fruit there but maybe next time. Management krub, please keep up the good work!

Is the superintendent drunk or what !!!! I saw him the other day collect a few beers from the fridge ... This course was in excellent shape and they decided to destroy it with unplayable greens, unplayable fringe, unplayable t-box (soo soft you could fall asleep on them) ... they used chemicals that was not appropriate and the course wil need six months (if ever) to come back to shape. What a shame ... but who cares TIT. Just pay and shut up.
