Centara Duangtawan Hotel Chiang Mai Reviews

We will recommend my friend to this hotel. Very nice and excellent service. I can walk to the night market is very close to. All around the hotel's area was beautiful decoration. The swimming pool is clean but small. Overall, I have nothing complain that.

We stayed in this hotel for 8 nights. The lobby is very luxurious and the front desk staff was very helpful. The room was very comfortable and very clean.

We have just spent 7 nights here, it is a large corporate hotel in a good location. Ideal location for the night market, on Sundays.
The rooms were lovely, not perhaps as luxurious as some hotels but more than comfortable enough with adequate facilities.

Good location to night bazaar. Good food locations nearby, dirty smoky rooms even though asked for non smoking room., Pool extremely cold. Good fitness centre if u want to train.

great location near the night bazar, good service at the front desk, old unpleasent rooms.

Even though the booking agent did not properly get me booked the hotel staff went out of their way to straighten it out.

Serve superb food and very helpful front desk staff. The only setback is the shower room is too narrow while no tap available next to the toilet bowl.

The most annoying and frustrating thing about this hotel is its lifts. They either don´t work or are incredibly slow.

Excellent hotel, very good breakfast. Very close to night market, 10 mins from airport, staff very good, excellent pool and leisure facilities, very good breakfast, wifi (not cheap) good on upper floors on 16th was unreliable signal. Would suggest paypal to avoid sending credit info over unsecured network. Tours from outside the hotel are approx half price but the hotel arranged tour we had was far superior. We would definitely return. Found this booking service to be very good.

i liked the location as it is very convenient to the night market,i alsoliked the fact that everyone from the person that opens the door for you, to the cleaners were very friendly . I have stayed there every time i have come to thailand, culminating in a wedding reception for my wife and myselfin may .The reception that was put on for us was superb , in fact it exceeded all my expectations. From what i have experienced from my stays in the duangtawan it is a very well run establishment where everyone is very friendly and hospitable.keep up the good work because i certainly will be coming back to you when i am in thailand again.

Really great,large,long bathtub; room otherwise undistinguished (no teak trim or carvings as in other similarly or even lower priced places). Also, no movie channel...

Great location for those who want to be near the Night Market and western comfort zone outlets such as McDonalds, Starbucks, HaagenDaaz... Very hot Finnish saunas in the fitness center... Better than average (in Thailand)Western hotel breakfast buffet, but very little in the buffet for those oriented orientally...

1. Room was not cleaned for 4 hours in spite of requesting reception to request room cleaning.
2. Recommend making one reservation per night as you get 2 hours free internet and 2 free items laundry for each stay and not per night.
3. Internet charges are a rip off. If your pop ups are blocked you do not see the log out screen and the system will continue deduction of your paid up time even after you switch off your system. They do not give you this information when you pay for your usbscription.
4, Many areas are not covered by the wi-fi hot spots.

An overall good experience, Thai service standards and kindness, excellent breakfast, Rooms design may be better finished but that´s ok if you put it all together. Convenient location and facilities.

Room was too hot and stuffy. Air conditioner inadequate. Window could not be opened. Lighting too dim.

Bathroom badly designed and was poorly finished in its construction. Tiling glue still visable on floor and tiles..bad workmanship. Linen was clean.
