The Maekok River Village Resort is idyllically located on the banks of the Mae Kok River with sweeping views across the water, to the forested hills which form the border with Myanmar. The peaceful, rural setting makes an ideal getaway for those wanting to escape the usual city tourist traps. For the interested and adventurous, the resort makes an excellent jumping off point for discovering Northern Thailand, so different from the bright lights of Bangkok and Chiang Mai or the teeming resorts of Phuket or Pattaya. However, there are also numerous activities available at the resort itself, allowing guests to fill their days with a variety of experiences.
The resort is managed by Bryan and Rosie Massingham, who, with Shane and Sriphun Beary, co-own the resort. Shane and Sriphun also own and manage Track of the Tiger Tours based in Chiang Mai. Originally from the U.K., Bryan and Rosie have spent the last 22 years in the Far East and look forward to welcoming you to the MRVR.
