Beautiful location and very friendly staff

The hotel is superb; the rooms are very well appointed; the staff are very accommodating and the facilities are wonderful. The pool and gym are excellent.
The breakfast, however, is very much Asian and there is not a lot of appeal to the European palate, but the dining area is beautifully located above the river.

Set on its own island in the Kok River across a bridge from the centre of Chiang Rai town, approximately a 1 hour fight north of Bangkok.

the hotel is a little bit to far from the center and they are not able to call a taxi, they bring you with a club car to the main road and then you have to search for your taxi, i have never seen this before
