Good central location, efficient service, good restaurant

The hotel is a very pleasant experience for a short stay and represents excellent value for money. We drove by car from Malaysia to do shopping, staying for 2 nights, our first time in Hat Yai. The hotel is centrally located with all city centre places only a short and easy walk away. It is clean and efficient and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was fine (although we are not big breakfast eaters) and we also ate good Thai food in the hotel restaurant on both evenings. It was good also to have the possibility of massage within the hotel itself (although we only had foot massage). The hotel guest car park right at the side of the building is also another advantage for car travellers, as well as the internet service in the hotel room.

Nice and cosy but more can be done

Have stayed there since its soft opening about 6-7 years ago and on a regular basis depending on visits. Most of earlier no longer working there but new staff need to be briefed on the importance of having its guests come back again and again. I have done that until my last stay end October till early November this year (2011). Have made some important suggestions much earlier but till this day nothing done about it (especially tea/coffee making facilities) which many Malaysians love to have (with an extra charge of course). Guests must be welcomed more often with the remarks - PLEASE COME AGAIN SIR/MADAM) which makes the guest feel really welcomed when checking out. This trait was there earlier with staff who were under the management of Khun Daruna and it was clearly seen then. But not anymore. Have e-mailed the hotel on this matter (3 mails) but no response on it at all. Hope this gets the attention of the GM Khun Sompol. Thank you and hope to be welcome again to New Seasons even of this positively critical comment.

The hotel is fairly modern looking but what I loved best about it was it's nicely maintained and clean facilities. This hotel free wi-fi. The shopping streets are nearby.

nice room big and clean, but cannot adjust the air-condition,
tv needs international channels, only 3-4 out of 50 channels.
