nice hotel

Nice hotel within walking distance of the beach, bars, restaurants, Night Market. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Good breakfast and good service.I will come back again.

Valuable hotel

The hotel was really cheap one compare to the location of the hotel and the room they have. The staffs are difference standard, as some are friendly but some are not willing to serve the guests, we're lucky that the staff we met was really helpful. The air-condition was not work well, it's not cool in our room, we have to turn it on all day and night.

Quite far from the beach, 5 minutes walk from the main street of Hua Hin. Hotel fairly worn, dingy towels are strong ... The quality of cleaning is poor. Not all equipment is working, the pool because of some works are not always available.Breakfast is satisfactory, at other times the price tag on food unreasonably overstated. Safe in the room not only for the reception. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the hotel reserves good impression but more into it I did not come.

Our favorite hotel in Hua Hin. The deluxe rooms are outstanding. Restaurant is breakfast only.

Only a few minute get to the beach. Service is good. ABF is just fine.

The hotel was very well located, it was clean and tidy. the room was spacious and well decorated. the pool area was good. the breakfast was limited but what was available was nice. The only major fault we found was the staff. They were efficient and polite, however, were not as friendly or warm as any other of the Thai people we came accross.

Asked for one hour late check out but were refused with the excuse that the hotel was fully booked, though this was obviously not true.

The Wannara is very close to the Sofitel and Hilton. It is an easy walk to the night market and very close to the beach. We have stayed there several times and the rooms are always clean and the staff helpful. However, the breakfast has never been anything other than mediocre.If you're a toast fanatic they really need to get an industrial toaster as there are always people waiting for the 2 domestic toasters they have (which hardly colour the bread anyway). It is possible to get fried or scrambled eggs or an omelette.

Room 504 , Bath room sink has poor drainage, also the bathub is a bit too high, the floor get wet everytime taking a shower.

The air conditioning didn't work well, and the controls were high up, difficult to reach. It was too hot the whole time in the room. Wireless internet was charged by the hour and way overpriced, though free at the hotel next door (where rooms cost less and the air conditioning DID work). Bad value for the money.

บริเวณที่ทานอาหารเช้าจะค่อนข้างร้อนแดด นั่งนานไม่ได้, น้ำในสระว่ายน้ำ ไม่ค่อยใส บางจุดมีฟองด้วย, ตึกใหม่ไม่มีลิฟท์ ถ้าได้พักตึกเก่าจะดีกว่า
อาหารเช้ามีไม่มาก แต่รสชาติโอเคดี , สถานที่โดยรวมสวยงามดี ร่มรื่น เดินทางสะดวก เดินไปชายหาดไม่ไกล

wonderful hotel near everything in Hua HIn

If you like a downtown hotel that has all the amenities but a price that is very affordable, this is the hotel. It's clean, quiet (even thought it's in the middle of town), has a great pool and the staff are superb. The rooms are small but comfortable and very clean. Internet charges are somewhat excessive but you can go down the road to McDonalds and get free wireless. It's five minutes to the shops, the beach and many excellent restaurants. It's ten minutes to the markets and fishing dock.
I would definitely return to this hotel, hopefully for a longer stay.

I have been to Thailand for 16 times.
have stayed in dozens of different hotels I will give you 3 reasons why this hotel is good.
1. hotel is in a good location, close to beach, restaurant and night market. Actually Huan Hin is not very big you can walk to most of the places it is about 5 minutes waling distances.
2. I have seen people complain about mosquitoes in other hotels, actually mosquitoes are everywhere(in thailand), not only in hotel also in open door restaurant, market..etc, just bring insect repellent.
3. Hotel is fairly new and and clean. I think that is what you are looking for in Thailand, clean place with hot water shower, easy access area. Wannara has all.
