Perfect holiday for those who want to get away from the rush and busy world. Staff are friendly and services excellent.

Far way from main city centre and a bit of inconvenient to move around.

Ideal for a quiet room with a very or private

Suitable for a relaxing atmosphere because it's quiet. The vast room. The service is great. But there is no need to buy a separate breakfast room.

The road to get there was in bad shape because of the rains, but the resort was very nice. They really catered to us as best they could, including customizing breakfast because they couldn't do buffet with only 7 people in the whole resort! Easy drive to Khao Yai or other areas.

nice resort if you want a tranquil, quiet location.

The service was great, manageress/owner was very helpful, we stayed in a thai house which had a problem with ants, I think it was caused by low season occupancy, If you stay in the Thai jungle you should except some bugs in your room, we got a free upgrade to a pool room on a final night which was much better accomodation.
Overall I would recomend this resort if your looking for a lovley quiet location and only a short drive from the national park.

Loved the garden. Breakfast was better than expected. Cute houses and rooms. I should have booked the Thai Houses.

Terraces, gardens and serenity

by Serge Ranwala from Melbourne, Australia

Loved the garden with the creek running through. The terraces were marvellous. The pool was small yet tastefully positioned. the rooms and the total design of the resort was with great refinement. We had the resort this holiday pretty much for ourselves; the owner manager speak perfect English, thus able to to help us. Large terraces compensate for smallish room size. I did not like the instant hot-water shower. The rain shower was great though. Serenity prevails in this charming resort.

Everything is satisfied. Clean and big room for family and enjoy large garden. This is second time for us to stay but it is so good to escape from city.

The Thai house is really small and not so well-maintained. Toilet was blocked and had to wait for maintenance worker to check and resolve. Expect basic facilities. Many unoccupied rooms, but was rejected when we tried to book a standard room.

No good english channels on TV especially for kids. The quality of food was not very good especially the buffet breakfast.

Lilawalai is a very nice, beautiful designed bungalow hotel with beautiful gardens, rivers and different Bali, Thai designed huts.
The rooms / bungalows are very nice with terraces and it is just nice to wander around. Pool is ok.
Only little setback: there have been very few people, therefore breakfast was limited.
W-LAN availible!
