THE VILLAGE OLD BARN
A vast, timber shingled roof sits over a loft and an open ‘workspace’, supported by massive timber columns. The open-to-nature design of the traditional village barn allows guests to live and breath the country life from its heart, whether that be: absorbing yourself in the morning mists during breakfast, taking in the sweeping landscape vistas over lunch or, breathing in the cool-night air under a starlit sky over dinner. The Village restaurant conveniently located at this old barn opens up to 09.00 pm daily (10.00 pm only Sat) for delightful European cuisine.

Our renowned resident chef at the Village Cuisine is a graduate in food science who indulges his passion for traditional cooking techniques and innovative ingredients to the delight of our guests (and it must be said, ourselves too). Whether it is fine dinning, contemporary cuisine or, traditional country-cooking, the 'Village Cuisine' always manages to surprise and delight guests with the quality of its produce and the talent in its kitchen. A stone's throw (or to be more precise, about twenty short steps down a cobbled, stone path), from the barn is our winery and meals in the 'Village Cuisine' are matched and complimented with our wines to enrich and enhance your meal, combining to create an unforgettable epicurean experience.
