Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway Reviews

The hotel is generally excellent but does lack some of the finer points. On arrival, (hot day) the aircon was off and the room was full of mosquitos. Next day the lavatory blocked and the daily newspaper delivered to the room was in Thai (when I am obviously a foreigner!). Following day, the aircon stopped cooling and the key card expired. All these items were quickly fixed by the friendly and helpful staff, but shouldn't have occurred in the first place. Overall I would recommend this hotel, especially if you want a tranquil setting. The facilities were good, pool, restuarants etc, although the the beach was not brilliant.
