I just got back from nisa cabana, a great little resort, i loved the infinity pool, the staff as so polite, as a veggie, meal times were easy, they had a small special selection of Veggie menu, and when we faniced something different the food manager was more than happy to make sure what ever we wanted we got, one night we requested pizza and it went down a treat, the staff are 5 star.
I stayed in a room with the ocean view, its slightly bigger than then the none ocean view room, our room had a bit of a musty smell, but we put it down to the fact that they must have to use some special products to preserve the villas, our air con dripped water, and nothing was done about that, but because it wasnt to much it was manageable. the rooms come with a dvd player so i would suggest u take some dvd's for evening veiwing as theres nothing to do in the evenings and TV had very little to offer. one evening we went outside the resort for dinner, we went to white sand beach, and the htoel charged us 500bht for a return trip for the two of us, taxi's are EXPENISVE, u can hire mopheads, but the roads are VERY bendy and very minimal lighting, so i would not recommend you to ride a bike at night,
resort is on the cliff top theres no beach on ur doorstep BUT the hotel provide a free bus shuttle to the beach in ban bangbao, which is a quiet, nice and cute beach, well it was while we were there (just outside peak sesson).
Overall i was happy with the service i was provided, breakfast could have been better but again on request they made me banana pancakes on most days i requested it so i came back with a smile.
I would go back if i was to visit Koh chang again,
