Koh Chang Kacha Resort & Spa Reviews

Just spent 8 nights at Kacha and it was pretty good value.
The room was comfortable and reasonably spacious. The pool was also very very good with kids area and slide etc. . Breakfast is very good, with a good variety of Thai and Western foods. If you want to stay in White Sand Beach I highly recommend it.

there are many customers for a little place, many mosquitoes

My first room smelled of mildew and after 2 nights they upgraded me to a pool view room for no extra cost. The breakfast in the morning was really good and the location was quite convenient. The gym was a bonus!

We checked into the hillside wing, the rooms are big and comfortable, tv is an lcd flatscreen, bathroom has a seperate shower and bathtub which is convenient.
Good gym with modern equipment, kiddies playroom will keep them busy for a while, library in the computer room could do with more english books, only found two!
Food is excellent, kids loved the chicken wings, breakfast had a nice variety, but be warned we had kids who only ate breakfast a couple of times and at that only ate a bowl of cereal, yet we were charged 150baht for breakfast for each child for two weeks, that adds up to an expensive breakfast, and when we were checking out and handed back the unused breakfast coupons, the reception staff took them and put them under the desk, when we asked about not being charged for each unused breakfast coupon they just smiled but still charged us, next time we will stay room only and get breakfast at the restaurant two minutes walk up the street, kids can eat their cereal in the room.
Apart from that it was a nice resort except for a few noisey ignorant russians, but then again nearly all russians are like that anyway, very angry people with sour faces most of the time.
Pool area on hillside is nicer than on beach side and has a waterslide.
Internet charge is expensive but plenty of shops next door are cheaper 1baht/min.
So overall a good quality resort, kids will love it, but if you have kids clarify the breakfast charges first. also with kids you're charged for extra for bed linen per night for the sofa bed, just go to the stalls and buy a blanket and sheet, much better value, and go to Nok laundry across the street, wash your clothes, iron them and rent a scooter at the same time, all at reasonable prices.

Excellent hotel and resort located in White Sands. It has gorgeous views of the sea as it's right on the beach front.

This is the second time we've stayed there and wouldn't stay any where else on Koh Chang.

Other parts of the island are easily accessible with local transport - they are fixed prices and no bahtering!

Everything is excellent - the services, the food, the staff - everything.

I would fully recommend this hotel. There is a variety of types of accommodation - for the more budget conscious to the more luxurious.

There is a problem about the water....somtimes it is nothing coming out from the tap. I have to make the complaint again and again....the technical staff repair it again and again until my check out.
The hoetl restaurant's rating is average.

Perfect location in the middle of White Sands. Stayed at 4 hotels in Koh Chang and this was the best for comfort, value and location. All the staff were really friendly and very helpful
