Walking distance to the sea

All rooms are large and malodorous sea, within walking distance to play. Not far from the resort because it's not. Service is very good. The food was delicious.

reasonable price with good location with white sand beache front, shops and restaurant. However, possible flooding on the street when it rains, quite inconvenient.

Overall I was happy with Mac. Service was a little slow but the staff tried hard and were always nice. The pool overlooking the beach was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The resort is located right in the middle of a busy beach, so restaurants, shops, and nightlife are all close. My only complaint was that my room was TOO close to the nightlife! The club next door had music blaring until 2 or 3 a.m. and it kept me up very late. We asked to switch rooms but were told we would have to pay 3000 extra baht/night to upgrade. I would stay here again, but only if I could get a room on the inner side by the pool.

Great hotel, excellent location on White Sand Beach

My girl friend and I spent a romantic holiday on Koh Chang and loved every minute of it. Mac Resort is located right in the middle of white sand beach. With nice restaurants, good shopping and nightlife venues nearby, I found the hotel still maintains a quiet, private feeling with its spaced out rooms, private pool and quality restaurant. The staff were helpful in every way possible, and the rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious. All in all it is a very pleasant hotel. I hope to be back someday!

OK stay, but there are lots of resorts on the Island so we cahnged after two nights....

Loved the clean, modern room (flat screen 32" TV!) and the location. Two downsides are the smell from outside the room due to the location of vents from a restaurant next door.
