Unpleasant staff

First, the pick up didn't come to pick us up at the ferry.
Second, there were flees on the beds.
Third, the hotel was almost fully booked due to full moon party so we had to fight to get a clean room. We slept 4 people in a 3 bed room.
We had to fight again to have 2 rooms because we were 4.
Finally, we did a diving session there were supposed to be 2 dives. We only did one dive and they didn't fully refund us the second dive !!!
No transfer to the ferry in the morning...
The staff really suck...

I liked the facilities at Weangthai, the location is good for people that are going to the full moon party (10-15mins, 100bht) however the beach near the resort isn't great compared to some on Phangan. Service was great from everyone with everyone being very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are average/ok, serviced well but are very basic. I would have liked a netting around the bed for the bugs as there were heaps of mosqi around during the night.
Overall a good experience, would recommend it more for younger people as there is a bit of a party atmosphere (esp in the lead up to full moon).
