Blue Lagoon Chaweng Beach was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in and we travel the world a lot. The service by the staff was very good, the hotel service was shocking. The Electricity kept going out 3 times for the day for 3-4 hours, the Generator they had on site was broken and was not repaired. The Jacuzzi only worked for 1 day, then it stopped working and never got fixed. I would not recommend this hotel to any one to stay at even for 1 day. I paid 7200 bahts per night total of 8 nights and got 1000 bahts service. Please do not stay at this hotel !!!

The breakfast was excellent. A couple things I mind are: that one old light bulb exploded suddenly one morning and I thought not changing light bulbs regularly could be very dangerous; that the water in the bathroom didn´t come out well. Other than these two things, everything else was great.

Just back from Koh Samui (30/1/06) stayed at blue Lagoon, cant fault location,pool,food,right next to beach. Plenty of shade if needed.At quieter end of Chaweng beach but close enough to enjoy eveything it has to offer.Rooms are a little dark and the kettle very poor but that was the only complaint would stay here again.

We had a fantatic time at blue lagoon the location was superb. step out of pool onto beach.On the quieter end of Chaweng beach best end if you ask us.Close enough to everything but far enough away to not be disturb.The rooms were a reasonable size although they were a little dark.This would not put us of staying again as the staff were exellent and anything you asked for was there straight away .We shall take our own kettle as the one there was useless. Fantastic place to stay.
