Bay View Resort Phi Phi Island

a bit away from the busy area (about 10 minutes walk). so you could easily go into town when you want to get food, entertainment, fire-show etc but at the same time, it was really quiet at night when you need to sleep.

the hotel is the last hotel on the stretch of tonsai bay. so you do not get the polluted waters or smells of the boats at the pier (though the water is still quite clean there). You can walk along the rock the another 2 private beaches after where the hotel is located.

the hotel offers good service of pick up & sending off to the pier by long tail boat (faster with luggages than walking). Also the bellboy will carry your luggages up the steep steps to your hotel. Generally, good service.

Also a must do is to climb up the the Viewpoint. Breathtaking views at sunset. There are 3 points. Point 1 is nice. POint 2 is beautiful and POint 3 supposed to be even more beautiful.

DISLIKES:
the toilets stink
had to trek up steep steps to get to chalet which is high up but because of that, there is a good view of the ocean.

Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Only detraction was climbing hill(s) to return to your villa after a long day.
