Everything is good except service

You can't criticize on the hotel's location, room, facilities, swimming pool, foods, breakfast, etc., except its service. Staff are so cool with very little smile, not willing to give you advice or help which maybe beyond their responsibility from their perspective. I asked the reception to help us to make a local call, just confirming the pick up time at the hotel with a taxi boat driver. But they refused and told us that we should go to those Internet cafe on the street to make a phone call!
