Agalin Resort Loei

The name AGALIN means the place in which time stops. It is a peaceful garden where East and West meet, reflecting the eclectic interest and experience of Khun Amnad Khitapanna, its creator, who spent most of his formative years abroad.

Here, in the winter, the temperature can drop to almost freezing point. The river recedes to unveil stretch upon stretch of white virgin sand, and one can spend hours utterly alone on the beach. During the monsoon, the river becomes a red raging torrent, sometimes as wide as one kilometre. AGALIN covers an area of about 15 acres and there are six houses on the property.

Each of these is furnished in a very distinctive style ranging from Lao Song cottage to Palladian villa, but they all have the felling/atmosphere of a comfortable country house. From Agalin you can make day trips to visit places of interest nearby: The west route, to the river Hueng along to the Laotian border, Chateux de Loei Vinery, Sri Songrak Temple, Phu Rua National Park, and the colourful Phu Rua nurseries.

The east route to Sangkom, Tarn Thong waterfall, Pra Dhat Bang Puan temple, Nongkai bazaar, and Phu Prabat Nationnal Park. At AGALIN all meals are inclusive, and are served at each house separately.

For large parties, meals can be served in the Hall.
