No negative comments. The service is excellent. Staff beaming and helpful it was very comfort. Close to the beach. Bristol fate of shopping around the hotel. And restaurants. I will be using this hotel again.

Loved everything about this place.Breakfast buffet served from 7am till 1pm so ideal for a lie in and breakfast around 11.30am.Located on Soi8 the beach is only a minute walk from the hotel with countless bars on Soi8 and Soi7.Walking Street is 15 minute walk or 5mins by Baht bus down Beach Rd.The hotel staff were excellent.friendly and helpful.The rooftop pool is ideal to chill out with a beer and to relax.Stayed at this hotel 3times with no complaints at all.Rooms cleaned daily and never had any problems with the maids or things going missing from the room.Definately recommend this hotel for value for money,location,honesty from all staff and amazing food.Many thanks to all at Flipper Lodge...Soi8....Will be back.

i've been coming to this hotel for nearly 10 years now, its exactly as you want it to be, clean friendly cheap(ish) and the location is spot on, it used to be a bit noisey at night but due to the 1am "closing" time of the local bars, its easy to get a good nights sleep.
Food wise the restaurant is top notch, with a fine selection of euro/thai dihes that never fails to impress.
As for the pool, its up on the roof, accessable via the lift at the rear of the lobby, its always clean an tidy, with a bar up there to that u can order whatever you like from, (try he watermelon shake).
all in all the sun shines out the backside of thiss place as far as i'm concerned,and no i dont own the place b4 u ask haha

Relaxing rooftop pool and bar

Good location and fair price. Good restaurant. Never had a bad meal and even come here to eat when I stay elsewhere. Food can be delivered to pool side tables. Barber, massage, internet, etc. available. Good security located at elevators.
