For the second time in two months the staff at Reception had no details of our booking. No problem I said - if you just let me use your computer to access the internet I can print and/or show you the voucher. They would not allow nor would they call Hotels2Thailand.Exactly the same happened previous visit 0 most hotels if you do not have the voucher allow you to check in because they have the details anyway but Pattaya Centre just do not want to help or assist. Location is good but Russian hookers allowing Indian and Kazaks to paw and undress them in the pool gets a bit boring after a while as did the noisy Indians continually propositioning the ladies by shouting their offer for a 'short time' - currently noisy because of building next door and on the 6th floor. Our nightly entertainment was the 6 Indians taking tuns to walk down the corridor to share the Russian hoojer in the 7th Room. Book here for one night max and then move into one of the nicer and quiter hotels on the Soi or on Soi 13. Good location but shitty could not care less staff.

Whether you are interested in the three nearby malls, walking St or the girls on the beach the location cannot be faulted. Friendly staff, outstanding breakfast and boring and dated looking building but you cannot do better in central pattaya - spacious rooms and bed!

Nice big room at a nice convenient location.

At check-in, we were given two single beds, but the staff quickly corrected the error. The room that we eventually got was quite nice and big. The breakfast was nice as well. The staff were helpful, but there was the language barrier... I had to repeat my requests a few times before the staff understood what I wanted. Overall, we'll definitely stay again.

This is an older hotel, so don´t expect 5 star surroundings, but a very comfortable bed, and friendly staff, and within walking distance of anything you need make it a great value!

This hotel was SUPERB value for money, is in a very central location, close to beach (30metres), shopping centres, and resteraunts, and many, many bars!! Is far enough away from the full on soi 1,2,3 but close enough if that is your thing. Staff friendly, room (stayed on 16th floor, executive room) clean and comfortable, with good housekeeping and a lot of satellite film channels and foreign channels from around the world. Breakfast excellent, and varied with many asian dishes , western style breakfasts and even beef casserole if you wanted. Unlimited food , and good quality. Also more than enough tables so no waiting around. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Also good swimming pool with view out over the sea, never crowded and good spots for sunbathing if thats your thing with parasols for shade. Also 30m from internet cafe, ATM, and bargain stalls for swimwear, cds, dvds, thongs etc. Well worth a visit.

Good place to stay except that the lightings should be turned on in more areas around the hotel to give the place a more lively and warm atmosphere. overall a nice place to stay with great view of the sea.

The location is just 100 metres from one of the best shopping centres/ Cinemas in Pattaya and almost adjacent to another on Soi 11.

Pattaya Central Hotel is located on a side street only 30 metres from the beach and there are 2 laundry outlets within 50 metres of the hotel. I would recommend the closer and smaller of the 2 laundry outlets. Restaurants suitable for family eating are located at the back of the hotel in the next side street ( Soi 13) as well as on the other side of Second Road at Kissmart Food.

The hotel itself has large big rooms but having to walk up from ground to first floor to reception is a pain and there is no lift service from ground floor to first or lobby level. Another drawback is that this hotel caters to large tourist groups who arrive by the bus load- so frequently the lobby and reception are overrun by tour groups, and the 2 lifts only hold about 6 foreigners at a time making the aspect of getting to and from your room a slow and tiresome business.

For about 20 English pounds or fifty Australian dollars the hotel offers good value for money but be aware it has its limitations like many Pattaya hotels. Breakfasts are buffet style and are poor in quality and in hygiene, so if you can, buy the hotel room and find yourown breakfast place elsewhere. The cost of breakfast even in high season is only 120 baht so enjoy this meal where you get good service and value would be my advice.

I definitely recommend this hotel. The best value for money hotel in pattaya... I was recently there for a week and found this hotel to be excellent..I was hesitant about trying this hotel after I´ve read so many diverse reviews but I thought the location was great and I´ve heard that they renovated many of their rooms and I wanted to give it a try...The lobby is huge and gorgeous.. I stayed at their excutive floor room and the room was newly decorated in Thai modern style and it was spacious with great view of pattaya beach and the whole city.. Whoever complained about the rooms being old should perhaps pay little more and try their executive floor rooms... everything is new , clean , and spacious..The price difference is not much. The staff were friendly and the food was great...I would definitely stay in this hotel again...Excellent location...

Recommend Executive floor

This hotel is about value. We shop for the hotel in central Pattaya area and this hotel turn out to be the best in value. Hard rock or Marriot want 2500 Baht for a night and i don´t even get the seaview room. but with Pattaya Centre Hotel I got one of the best room avaiable in the area. My family was there 3 weeks ago. We was in the Panorama room on executive floor. The room is newly renovate in Thai modern style and is very large with balcony facing the bay of Pattaya. Everything in the room is brand new even carpet and toilet. ABF is plenty. I recommend this hotel only if you want to be around this area(Centre of Pattaya) and upgrade to Excutive floor only!

No sun shades at swimming pool, therefore unless you want to be burnt, could not use. Executive rooms ok, have mini-bar but no tea/coffee making facilities. Lobby area appears very dark because of curtain covering all windows!
