Sawasdee Sea View Hotel Pattaya Information

Compliments; Despite a number of poor reviews of this hotel, we found that the deluxe rooms were spacious, well cleaned and value for the price paid. The staff were all friendly, perhaps using some Thai language made this so. The breakfasts, included in the room price, were a choice of three Thai dishes and/or what is often described as an American breakfast, eg fried eggs, thai sausages, ham, toast, fruit, juice, tea and coffee.
Complaints; Noisy guests eg doors slamming and conversations 2am.
Construction work across the Soi, constant 8am to 5pm pile driving. Absolutely hideous overbearing noise.
Once construction is finished, as long as more doesn't start too near this hotel would be excellent value if the deluxe rooms are used. Can't speak for the cheaper rooms, but you get what you pay for anywhere in asia.
