The front counter staffs seems inactive.They do not understand their duty or the managemnet selected wrong people (disqualified staffs),I couldn't guess.
Unfortunately,eventually,this is my last time for this hotel,I swear.

Breakfast was so good.
Rooms are too small cos it's in an old building.
Good car parking,safe.
Not good much about staff cos not smiling and not servicing.
Air-Con in rooms are hot

Good location, near the beach and with the new shopping centre (Central Festival) just a 5 min walk. Almost centralised to everything in pattaya. Really value for $. Staff are really helpful as i got my room with a spoilt water heater and phone and they fix it ASAP with a friendly attitude. Only -ve point is can't really see the sea from the room. i stay in the delux room.

Change 3 room in 1 night cos room not complete. 1st room [101] have dirty towel and toilet unlock. 2nd [104] room toilet still unlock , plug of fridge can't use and smell painting.And last time we got the room no.108 is ok.

Upset this hotel "Sawassdee",we say "good bye" inreturn.

Nothing special here. The price was ok for what we received but I did find the staff less friendly than other places we have stayed at. A bit lacking in the traditional Thai hospitality.

This hotel is showing its age. As typical with many asian countries, maintenance is carried out by the clueless. However, they are in the process of painting rooms while I was there, so maybe there is some hope. The walls in the stairwell are a puky yellow that is now kind of mustard color from all the stains. There is an anoying phone on each floor presumably for room service/maid that starts loudly ringing from 8 in the morning. I´ve seen reports about theft of personal belongings from web reports, but I stayed 9 days and didn´t have anything taken, like digital camera, laptop, walkman, etc. The breakfast is definitely, "ABF" or ASIAN breakfast, definitely NOT American breakfast. It consisted of bread, juice, coffee, tea, a couple of buffet warming trays with three various asian dishes like, ginger chicken, stir fry cabbage, occasionally a curry dish, always an failed experimental looking asian dish and fried rice. They have a tray of pre cooked sunny side-up eggs or they will cook an omlet station while you wait; also plain rice and french toast, several types of fruit and salad fixings and toast. Meat consisted of cocktail hotdogs and ham "lunchmeat". While it sounds kind of alright, after staying several days, it did become monotonous. Overall, the staff was courteous and did not make a nuisance of themselves and the maid service was very good. Considering the price (505B/night, incl. ABF), I would stay there again.

However all 3 days I had a TV that tuned on but offered no working channels and no hot water in the shower

Excellent location, within walking distance to the beach and easy access to all expected service such as travel desk, laundry, taxi, convenience shop etc. The front a bit poor in english communication thus I have few hard times to receive good response from them in my inquiries. Another comment is the location is a bit dark during night time, anyway the distance is short to main road which always full of crowd.

i might stay again maybe, nothing too bad nothing too good

Very close to the beach (2mins walk) close to busy night life of soi 8 & 10, but in a quiet area. No pool at the hotel as it says in the description but there is another hotels pool you can use about 10 mins walk away.

i stayed in oct for two weeks good and clean hotel, easy access to all the fun places will go back.

There is it in a quiet place.
It is almost the sea.
It is for the above to be good.

Easy to get too, easy access to the beach, it can´t be that hard to keep breakfast warm though.

This is a budget hotel, no frills and very lady friendly (no extrs cost). I had deluxe room which was large, with full size
bath, breakfast was reasonable with thai and euro food, the beach is 5 minutes from front door easy access to shops and resturants, walking street 5 minutes in baht taxi. Down side- you cannot see the sea from most rooms unless you crane your neck on higher floors there are no safety boxes in rooms but they have then in reception at no charge.

Hotel location is good, near to the beach, equal walking distance to Big C or walking street. ABF is ok, choice is limited. Don´t ask too much with the price you are paying. Room is big, clean and aircon is cold. Hotel staff are friendly. Will stay there again in the next visit.

I and 4 mates stayed at this hotel in octorber 2005 for 12 nights. It´s in a good location 5mins from the beach. The rooms where clean. The two problems that we had with this hotel where, 1. It states there is a swimming pool there was no swimming pool. The pool was in another hotel about a mile away. There was free transport too and from. 2. The television not very good receiption i could not get certain channels, but other rooms could. I complained about this but nothing was done. Otherwise this is a good hotel for the price of the room. I will be staying there again .
