The resort was great. The rooms do need some renovation with a musty smell but the maid was excellent at cleaning and accommodating us. The food is excellent and very cheap, great free breakfast buffet, internet is cheap with 3 or 4 available computers. We loved the area as well cause we never expected to be on the strip. The beach is not the best but we enjoyed the pool with very comfortable lounge chairs. We walked to the Floating Market and enjoyed that tremendously. There is a bus at Post 8 outside the Bangkok airport that will take you to Pattaya, buy your ticket inside the airport for 124 Batt ($4.00) One hour ride to Pattaya and they have bus stations as well in Pattaya that takes you back to the airport. Take the time schedule when you purchase your ticket and it will show where you can catch your bus to return to Bangkok. It was a great week and would return to Sigma Resort again.

I dislike: The building is old, room's furniture & curtain is destroyed and many ants inside. Only 1 small TV & 1 bathroom in the 2 bed rooms apartment.

Pretty Good Location And Quite Convenient

First of all, it should be a free wifi internet instead of ß150.00/ hr. Second of all, they should give more room keys for any 2-3 bedroom suites. I took a sea view suite with 4 of us. We needed the key for all doors- front door and bedroom doors. Also, the bedrooms will be automaticcally locked after we close them. Third of all, I think they need more housemate as it took me half day to wait for the room to be made up. Finally, the air-conditioner are very antique. I had not seen for a long time.
By the way, the location is good, carpark is o.k. people are nice. Finally, foods are great.

like:location with beach front walking distance! good seaview.
dislike: not enough picking up and dropping off hotel accomodated transportation, when traveling early and late hour.
bed sheets should be replaced. the colors sort of greyish.

Poor location good food

The hotel was clean and modern the bedrooms were large and bright but the location is poor if you want nightlife as the hotel is situated at the far end of Jontiem beach and a long bus ride into town.
