Woodlands Hotel has unexpected charm. Though not far from a main street, it was tranquil, with lots of plants and vegetation, giving it a real tropical feel. The rooms are in small low level blocks. We had a deluxe room which was large and felt quite luxurious. A varied breakfast was provided and we ate in the restaurant at night quite reasonably, with good quality food. My wife had a massage which she found very relaxing and therapeutic with prices very reasonable for a four star hotel. There is a fantastic French coffee shop at the front of the hotel, with excellent coffee and patisseries. We had very early check in which meant we had a full day enjoying the 2 swimming pools with very comfortable loungers and mattresses. We also had our lunch beside the pool which was very good too. I would recommend the hotel highly. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there
