Woodlands Hotel& Resort Pattaya Reviews

A small and charming family owened 4 stars hotel set amid a peaceful tropical garden.

We are a family of five and had two rooms for 4 days. There are a small kitchen in the room plus dinning table and living area. Good shower and bath. The bed is very comfortable.

We really enjoyed in this place.Nice swimmming pool..But spa package is easy full booking and staff at reception should be more experiance and polite..

internet connection should be free in deluxe rooms at the least. we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet...just include more varieties of fruits and pasta on the menu. the ambience in the resort was very serene and relaxing.

We were extremely pleased with Woodlands Resort. We have visited Thailand and Pattaya a number of times and overall, we would rate Woodlands as the best. We stayed in a pool side suite and found the room and facilities more than met our expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful, yet not overbearing. This is particularly true of the cleaning staff, who should always be rewarded with a tip, imho.

The location is very good for shopping, eating, legitmate massages and swiling beer, and its only a 10 baht bus ride to Walking Street, the beach and the other "exciting" attractions of Pattaya.
While the restaurants just outside the hotel provide a preponderance of German food, Thai food is also available. Both fares are inexpensive and tasty. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, but not being particularly enamoured of the Pattaya beach scene, we gave that a pass other than for strolls.

If there are negatives, the area around the pool is enclosed by the resort building; consequently, the cooling breezes rarely penetrate. Mosquitoes can be annoying if you sit outdoors in the evening, but hey, its the tropics and mosquitoes come with the territory.

All in all, we throughly enjoyed are stay at Woodlands and would be pleased to recommend it to anyone.

The online photos do not do justice to this wonderfully located and designed hotel. The service was impeccable and the call to my room just moments after I checked in to make sure I was satisfied made me feel that I was definately being taken care of. The facilties are excellent, the pool clean, safe and idyllic if you dont want to travel to the rather disappointing Pattaya or Jomtien beaches. The breakfast was also plentiful and tasty and the room spotless each day. I have stayed in resorts before and this one by far outstrips the Amari Orchid just along the road and at a fraction of the price. The resort is quiet, secure and all staff are friendly and make you feel that you are really a guest to be taken care of. Although I am not enamoured by Pattaya as such, I would definately go back just for the Woodlands. Dont be put off by the location, it is easy to take a taxi downtown and get back at night without any need to explain to taxi drivers, it is on the main road to the north of Pattaya. Book now and enjoy it!

The Woodlands is a lovely hotel. The staff there are extremely friendly and courteous. The location is excellent. A 10 minute baht taxi ride from town with many bars and restaurants close by should you not want to travel too far from the hotel. Rooms were lovely as were the grounds, pools and hotel in general. If I were to have 1 gripe, it would be that after 11 days, the breakfast became rather tedious. There was much more choice on the Asian side of the food there and with just a little more variation on the western (not American) food available, it would have been perfect. All in all though a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Need to renovate interior,as seem so old for such a class of hotel

actually i really like this place but except the waitress who take care around 7 pm.on the bar She´s not a professional service as the way of hotel being. And the important thing she´s look unhappy and not appreciate at her job. The client can feel it.

The delux rooms were of a Superb High standard at an exceptional price.
Food & Breakfast was very Good.
Staff were excellent & extremely helpful & willing to help with any situation.
