Wonderful staff and great hotel

Stayed here for 5 nights in early May and enjoyed every minute. The location was excellent, security at all times. The pool was good and you could swim up to the bar for a drink just take one with you and sit on the lounges. I would definitely stay there again if I go to Patong Beach.

We stayed at the Banthai in November 2009. We found it to be a good hotel in a great location. Just a walk down the hotel driveway and across the road and you are on Patong Beach, 5 minutes walk to Bangla Road, 15 minutes to JungCeylon Shopping Centre and other markets closebuy. Clean modern hotel with all the amenities. Good range of food for breakfast. Would definitely book again if within our budget. We were lucky enough to get a great 8 days for the price of 4 package deal.

room alocated was not the same as that which i downloaded. when i asked to see manager hes was agressive.

The stay was ok, but just that. Staff were not going out of there way to assist nor do they give the welcoming Thai hello or greetings. Breakfast very average. Restaurant out the front was very nice though. Good location. I think you can get better value for money elsewhere.
