surprisingly a little heaven behind the market street
loved the hotel

the pool access room had a bad "sewerage" odour in the bathroom which was reported but took 2 days to address,overall a very nice place with good service and ndly staff.Would certainly go back again despite the bathroom odour.

We stayed in the Grand Suite which is like a 1 bedroom apartment in June 2007. If you have young kids it is worth the extra money. You have a loungeroom with kitchen and then a separate bedroom with huge bathroom. Only down side is they were extending the hotel and was VERY VERY noisy during the day and into the night. The noisy did not worry us as we have kids, but if you want a quiet time by the pool please look at another hotel. Check out Shakers at the font of the hotel. They have great, cheap food with good service. Markets right next door.

I think this hotel is in an excellent location and looks beautiful. The pool is really big and beautiful and clean. The buffet breakfast is really good too. The standard rooms are pretty average, in the old part of the hotel, I think the deluxe rooms and the ones that open onto the pool would be alot better. But in terms of value for money, it os really great.

stayed at the baumanburi for 8 nights sept 2006, found the hotel very clean, great pool and friendly staff. beach is only 5 mins walk and right next door to otop markets and shakers resturant great food great service. doing a return vist 2007 with 14 friends hope to stay at baumanburi again if i can get the right price would recommend.
