Food is uninspired. Water turned off without warning forcing me to bathe in the pool prior to my flight out. No wifi, unusual for a hotel this size and caliber

I have stayed here on several occasions. It is not a sexy beachside location but it is actually very handy for driving to pretty much all of the northrn beaches and Central Plaza. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the Pool outstanding and you can hire a Suzuki Jeep from Gigat car hire in the Lagoon Shops just 300m awat for 500 baht a day! So unless you specifically want to be at Patpong, Kata or Kama this is a greatr base for both relaxing and exploring as you get a 4 star hotel and a car for under 2000 baht a day.

Hallo, I was after the tsunami as disaster helper with my rescue-team in Boat Lagoon for 4 fays. Now, I want to visit Thailand with my family, to show them the area of disaster. I have always on my mind your wonderful craps soup with lemongras :-)

I loved this place! The pool was awesome and the rooms were fantastic. The view of the pool from our room was spectacular. The staff were very nice and helpful and they always cleaned the room beautifully. I felt like I was finding out what it was like to be rich. And the price I paid (about $41 AUD at the time) was amazing. It was a bit far from the beach but because we had a car it was fine, we could explore other beaches besides patong etc.

I stayed at the Boat Lagoon resort for 2 nights and I wanted to stay longer. The ppl though their english isnt too ggod were more than willing to help in anyway we wanted! If you are looking for relaxation this is the place for you... if you want to be close to action I advise to stay in Patong Beach...Boat Lagoon is a 500 BHT cab ride from beach!
