That's also good for 4 stars hotel's standard.Overall are quite good.I stayed at spa wing the room is very nice.Our room was facing the swimming pool .Good and clean room.The location quite closed to Patong beach and easy go to other tourist places.

It's really is a very nice Resort. The price is reasonable and the service is great. All the receptionist serve customers with smile everyday. Near to the beach and the main street of Patong. I definately will come back to this Resort again and is highly recommended to everyone.

Booked Resort on internet after reading other peoples positive comments.
On arrival we (2 adults, 1 youth) found Deevana to be a very pleasant, friendly resort with everything we needed.
Breakfast was pleasant surprise for the money we paid.
Rooms comfortable, staff couldnt do enough.
Great place for a stay in Phuket, would recommend to family and friends.

The Deevana is at a great location in a Tropical setting. It's only 10 minutes walk to almost everything, beach, shopping centre and Bang la Road. Meals were fantasic, little costly and they add onto your bill a 10% and a 7% tax(that's for everything you purchase there) We stayed in the Garden Room for 14 days, it was very quite. You will need mozzie spray or coils for your rooms or you will get eaten alive and when you go out you will need to put something on your legs. Plenty of 7 Eleven's and FoodMarts close by and ATM's. We did find that the room cleaners use your dirty bath/hand towels to clean your cups and glasses. We went swimming at Patong Beach alot in the first week and I had broken out into a rash around my waist and back, underarms and under buttocks which was painful. After talking to the locals have found that the rash was from the shit and piss in the water. They do not have sepic tanks or any treatment so it goes into the sea. Notice that the locals do not swim there at all. I found the Deevana was over staffed, with many employee's standing around doing nothing. Management could reduce staff to lower costs on drinks and food. Over all, had a great stay at Deevana.

Plus points :
1. Away from Bangla street, but within 10-15 mins walking distance. Hence shield away from the bustling nightlife
2. Landscaping fairly nice
3. Room : fairly basic and good value for money

Dislikes :
1. Ridiculous Joiner fee penalty of B500
Totally unacceptable
2. Staff at Reception are NOT really helpful

The rooms were clean big and comfortable, very close walking distance to the beach and nightlife and great pool & surrounds. Would stay there again!

Rooms with private jacuzzi were spacious and really nice but lacked privacy as they were located around the pool on the ground floor. The location is a taxi ride from downtown and the beach but quiet.

Staff´s english is more limited.

Everything about the hotel was alright, the room that i´ve stayed in, was the spa deluxe room with the private jacuzzi but the water was too cold. We couldn´t relax and ended up swimming in the swimming pool. On the day that we´ve checked out, we still have a few hours to our flight so we went swimming again. A room was assigned for us to shower in and it was very thoughtful of them.

We had a fabulous time at Deevana Patong and will most definitely return in future. It is ABSOLUTE VALUE FOR MONEY!!! Thanks to all the friendly staff for a great stay!

the hotel rate is reasonable. very clean. But it takes around 10 to 15 mins walk to the centre of Phuket, beach and the big shopping mall Jungceylon. Overall, its a good place to relax. clean and quiet.

The hotel is a 15 minutes walk to patong beach which for a family like me with teenagers was a huge plus. We throughly enjoyed our stay in Hotel and i would recommend to all. Try and get room in Spa wing. The staff though dont understand english well, try thier best to help with a smile all the time. I have no doubt in my mind after staying at differnet citites in Thailand it is a 4 star hotel.

This is my second stay at Deevena since last year. Got the garden view room for 3 nights stay for its free airport transfer. Location quite far from beach & Soi bangla, if you rent a bike it should not be a problem.
Rate for garden view room is quite good as I´m on budget that´s why I choose to stay here again. It have shops/restaurants/bike rental all located along the main road but deevana is sitted about 50m from the main road.
Breakfast is normal as the choices of food is about the same everyday.
Overall a value stay as it´s the few hotel available here with free airport transfer.

The staff were fantastic, we took our son and they just did everything possible to make our stay fantastic.

Located off a quiet road in busy Patong, stayed here for the first two nights of the holidays and returned for the last two as it is such a great place to stay in. We were upgraded to a room with Spa on our return. Food and staff are excellent. Couldn´t have asked for anything more. The best place we stayed in in Phuket!

Had a problem getting the room for early check-in, but it was handled well. Big hotel made for quite a long walk from the lobby to the room. Breakfast was adequate. Really, taking into consideration that the hotel was full every single day we were there, with a high number of arrivals and departures, the staff did a great job. Always friendly, willing to help, and everyone always smiled. Despite how busy it was, I was even able to get a room to freshen up for my late flight.

Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Deevana Patong. Food prices on the menu did not include taxes, so we were a bit shocked when we recieved our first food bill we had not experienced this in other parts of Thailand. Good value for money, would stay again if we were to go back to Patong beach.

The swimming pool near the garden rooms is very nice and the food at the pool bar is good and also reasonably priced but the food in the main restaurant is expensive for what is offered. It was more interesting to go and eat in the restaurants down the main road and much cheaper.

We stayed in junior suite in the spa wing. The room was spectacular as were the pools and facilities. Great breakfast in the mornings. Location was a bit far from the main strip (15 min walk or 100 Baht TukTuk ride) but the hotel itself was top notch! Also stayed at 3 other hotels during our stay and Deevana was by far the best!

The garden wing rooms needs major revamp. The constrast between the garden & spa wing were so great!

We stayed in the Garden Wing. Nice tropical feel. Rooms were of ideal size with large bathrooms. Having a built-in wardrobe in the bathroom is great!The hotel is beautiful, loved the design of the swimming pool at the spa wing. Breakfast good.buffet dinner every Wednesday night has fantastic array of food!Value for money. Though the beach is about 10 mins walk away from Patong,it is away from all the noise from the pubs at patong.Would definitely recommend others to stay here!

service was excellent for 7 days but last day by checking out make us feel like stealers because one glass !! in room was missing ! we not have this glass from first day so check all on start that later you will not have "problems".

Love the jacuzzi in the Deluxe Room at the Spa Wing! Very spacious room. Bathroom was huge also. Breakfast could be more inspiring. But it was sufficient. All-in-all, a good stay at an even better price.

To be more specific on the room type on promotion,offer type is different from the expectation.

I stayed in Standard Room, Garden view, no bathtub in the room & a bit odd when you closed the bathroom door, the wardore is in the bathroom.Other than this ,good location, 10 minutes walk to the night spot Bang La Road & 5 minutes walk to food stalls, massage centre & minimart.Value for money.

The only problome was the food! It coud be more varied!

I love the peacefulness and quietness at this place.It not my first time staying in devanna,the reason why i keep coming back to phuket is basically because of devanna spa resort. In fact excellent front desk service.

i like breakfast menu but do not like room is not good to stay Just as bath room and there is not free service sauna room after swimming .

We booked 4 rooms at the Garden Wing.

Location - OK, walking distance along the crowded street to all the places at patong - beaches, pub street, food!

Hotel & services - Nice, big and clean hotel which is value for the money.
Service is good, fast response. We experienced 1 room with water leaking (raining), and the staff was fast in changing to other room. Transport service staff is punctual and helpful.

Hotel2thailand offered a good promotion price for the rooms! Lowest price for the Great hotel!

We booked 2 Deluxe Rooms with a jacuzzi for each room and requested for connecting rooms. Front desk staff tried their very best to offer. Though we did not get connecting rooms in the end, no major issue.

There was no bath soap/gel in the room when we checked into 1 of the rooms. One phone call and Housekeeping brought 5 bars of soap in less than 5 minutes. Excellent. Minor matter.

Some waiters/waitresses during breakfast could be more observant and quick in clearing plates since it was buffet breakfast and many plates/cutlery would be piled up once we get up to go for more food.

Overall, those were all minor matters compared to my 17 years´ experience of extensive travel around the globe and having stayed at a variety of hotels ranging from small budgets to super luxurious ones. So long as we had a good stay though it was a very short trip.

Really nice place

Stayed between the 6/12-9/12. Huge contrast compared to the images viewed online. Rooms( garden view ) were sparsely furnished. The decor of the hotel was great but the room was a big disappointment. Not value for money, definately.

I was there from the 8th of October 2005 to 12th of October 2005. The first impression of the hotel is beautiful with a thai decorations. The staff was so helpful and friendly, I will always be thankful to them. All my reservations for the tours that we took were very professionally handled and we had a really good time. The breakfast buffet that was included in our room tarrif was great. The Thai massage in front of the hotel that this hoel maintains is also very good and decent. Special mention must be made of the girl in the tour desk who helped us book a hotel in Bangkok, forgot her name, must be Lai/Lei. She was always there for help and helped us a great deal. Overall I would rate 5/5 for this hotel. Locationwise, its very well placed with just a 10 minute walk to Soi Bangla or the Beach Road. The hotel door stays open all time so no problem with you getting in and out of the hotel anytime.
