Like a Secret Quiet Garden in the heart of Phuket

I really liked this place enough to go back soon. The room was so spacious, the food was delicious and I could zoom around Phuket and then come straight back to the airconditioning. Loved the pools, the staff were very gentle and polite. My room was cleaned beautifully, it was enormous. The grounds are amazing with their trees and gardens.

Very good pools, location and food. Price rather too high.

Good location walking distance from restaurants and all the action. A calm oasis in mad Patong. Food is very good and reasonable price. Pools are the best you will find anywhere - superb for serious swimming. Overall, the price is a little high for the standard given, would be more attractive if promotional discounts were on offer.

Beds(including pillows) were incredibly HARD and uncomfortable. Not one kids channel on TV (family resort?)nor Australian Network - considering no. Aussies staying there. Staff listened to complaints but didn't seem to care too much. Couldn't get a seat at breakfast around 9.30am - again, staff not helpful unless approached. Unusual room design - shower and toilet open directly into main room. OK if you don't want any privacy! Great pools (X3). Kids really enjoyed kids club (mainly for the computers).

Seemed to be a lack of staff. Only one pool had drink or food service.

Better than the beach

Duangjitt Resort is like paradise. They have three swimming pools, the largest of which is a lake complete with an island. As beautiful as the beaches are in Phuket, swimming in the large pool is way more fun than swimming in the ocean.

Superb buffet, beautiful gardens, big pools

by Serene Ng from Singapore

Its a nice place. I recommend staying there if you like to chill out at the pools cos they are many pools and they are big. Its location is about 5 minutes walk to the Beach so if you like a little quiet, esp at night(like me), it is a great place to stay.

One drawback was there was construction of a new wing during my stay. It wasn´t noisy but you won´t get a beautiful sight. Some parts of the resort were also abandoned. But as long as you don´t go to those areas, you are fine.

Excellent Resort, incomparable!

The Landscaping were beautiful! The pools were big and clean! Both are the main highlights of the hotel.

The location is not too far from the beach, about 5 minutes walk from the main gate and its good cos its away from the crowd at night if you need to have some peace and to relax.

The hotel staff are friendly - one bell-boy even speaks Chinese! The breakfast is actually a mixture of Asian and American Breakfast, they serve good spagetti, potatoes and milk! Its not fantastic but its more than good.

The room is clean. Water is a little yellowish and salty - I don´t know why. And don´t like it that the pool closes at 6pm, its too early, we can´t swim at night...

But all in all, it was indeed a fabulous experience for us. Thanks hotels2thailand.com and Duangjitt! You have done a great job! We hope to be back at PAtong with you soon!
